The content is a detailed presentation by a single speaker explaining four different types of marketing funnels—tiny offer funnels, continuity/membership funnels, application funnels, and case study funnels—used to attract and convert leads in business. The speaker shares personal experiences, practical tips, and strategies for implementing these funnels to optimize sales and customer engagement. The format is a monologue aimed at educating entrepreneurs or business owners about funnel marketing techniques.
People's excitedness to buy. Like we get dopamine when we buy things, right? So we want people to be excited about signing up for a program. What's up, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Decision Maker show. And today we are talking about my favorite types of funnels that I am building in my business, that I'm using to operate everything inside of my business. Bring in all of the leads for our various different levels of programs. And there are four different types of funnels that I want to talk about today. One of them is my favorite type of funnel, which I've been talking about for three years, and that is the tiny offer funnel. Next we're going to talk about membership funnels. How to get people into your reoccurring membership application funnels and why they're important. How to launch a funnel that is purely for the purpose of getting people to apply for your highest ticket programs. And then the final funnel that we're going to talk about is doing a case study funnel, which is. Which is similar to a webinar funnel or a master class funnel, but it's done on a slightly different angle based on what we're seeing is really working in the market today. So to really jump in right away, the first type of funnel that I recommend having every single person, no matter what level of business you're in, needs a tiny offer funnel. Now, what is a tiny offer funnel? A tiny offer funnel originally came from the concept of liquidating your ad spend. That was my whole goal when I launched my first time. Tiny offer funnel. My first tiny offer funnel was for a 27 digital product. It was a calendar that had live stream content in it. 365 ideas for live streams gives people something to say every single day of the year. And I sold 30,000 copies of that tiny offer. So that came from having a digital product. It had bonuses built in, just like any offer you've seen before, where it's. It's really robust, it's immersive. People could log in and be like, oh, there's so much inside of the software. This is amazing. And it was only $27. So then people were hooked, right? People were in. They got to know me, they got to see my teaching style, they got to learn about what else I could help them with, and they paid for the product. So they were already more invested than other people who would normally join an email list from a freebie or something, right? So that's what a tiny offer is. It's shifted a lot over the last couple of years, we've seen tiny offers evolve into paid masterclasses, paid webinars, paid challenges. There's all sorts of things that you can start monetizing. But the biggest thing about tiny offers is that you are building your list full of buyers. You are building your list full of people who are invested in being there. They're not just collecting freebies that they never even open, they are collecting information or they're investing to learn, which is already a different kind of person and frankly the type of person that you want on your email list. Right? People who are taking action, people who are excited to be there. There are all sorts of things you can do with tiny offers. It's not just about ads anymore either. We've seen a lot of luck using these tiny offer funnels as the thing that you talk about as a guest on a podcast, or if you are ever in a summit or something where you can give away access to something, you can give them a free coupon for the tiny offer and then use the other pieces of the offer. Usually when we build these funnels, there's a main offer and then there's an order bump that's about $37 and a one time offer that's $77. So a funnel is really about continuing to offer people the next thing before they even realize that it's something that they want. It's about knowing your audience so well that you can predict what else you're going to be able to help them with and what other products you can have in a, in a, you know, order to help them before they have even asked for that product. So when you think about that, it's like, where else can you add on some type of monetization to a product or to a funnel that you already have in existence? So if you have a freebie funnel, can you add an order bump on the confirmation page? Can you sell a product on that confirmation page of your freebie? If you have a webinar that you're marketing, can you put some kind of bundle or some kind of workbook or some, you know, mini course on the back end of your webinar registration to get people to sign up and pay for something? At that point, can you do a paid challenge? Can you sell a tiny service, like a tiny, I don't know, audit? If you do something, can you audit some of these emails or somebody's Instagram account? If you're a service provider, there are so many ways that you can harness people's excitedness to buy. Like we get Dopamine when we buy things, right? So we want people to be excited about signing up for programs, but doing it in a way where it's so small that there's not a ton of consideration that needs to go into the purchase. They don't have to think about it a whole lot. They don't have to go check their bank account balance, ask their partner. Like, they can just make that impulse purchase and be like, okay, cool, this is my person. I'm going to sign up, I'm going to learn about what they have, and I'm going to buy this tiny offer product. And there's so many different ways to do it. So just start looking at what you have right now and start thinking about what you could monetize, what you could sell, what you could stack on the back of something that's already working. And there's your. Your very first tiny offer, right? Like, we don't have to make this complicated. You should be able to do it in a week or less. If you're doing it without tech and you're just testing minimal viable product is something I talk about a lot, too. The second type of funnel is continuity. So continuity is going to be huge. And when I say continuity, I call this like the cornerstone in your business. The cornerstone is something on which everything else relies, right? Like, cornerstone of a building is the thing that everything else is dependent on and something I've learned over the last three years. I'm going through a lot in my business, having the world shut down, having my brain shut down, like, all sorts of things. I learned that one of the reasons I was able to survive all these different things that were going on is because I had a continuity membership set up inside of my business. So if you can get people into a membership, into a subscription, a continuity offer where they are paying every single month, that gives you a lot more breathing room so you don't have to launch and you don't have to feel that feast and famine all the time. So creating that cornerstone offer, which is a membership inside of your business. So what we're doing is a kitchen sink offer is what I'm calling it, going to be released soon. It's going to be awesome. But a kitchen sink offer where you can get the kitchen sink of everything I've created. You ever heard that quote, everything in the kitchen sink? I think I need to test this name just to make sure people know what I'm talking about. But you give them everything in exchange for a trial of the membership, and then you make the Membership or the cornerstone of your business. So awesome that once they're in there like, oh my gosh, this is everything I've ever needed. I'm never leaving. So you don't have that high client churn. Churn. So making sure that you have a cornerstone set up in a tiny offer. The third thing that I recommend having, if you have any sort of higher ticket in your business, is an application funnel. Application funnel, super simple, right? Like you have some kind of form, could be a Google form. We use Woo forms in our business. I have no idea where we found that tool, but that's what we, we've used for a long time. Woo forms, ask them a few simple questions. We use ours to pre qualify people. So depending on how they answer or what program would be the best fit, we can segment the traffic, right? So they will ask us or we'll ask them different questions depending on what program we have that is going to fit them better in one direction. Or if we think, you know, there's something else that would serve them at a higher level, then after they fill out the application, we will either invite them to book a call with our team, which is a, you know, a sales process. It's a group of people that are there not just to sell. If you're watching this and you're like, oh, I don't want to book a sales call, but to make sure that you have the support that you need to give you strategy. And of course, if we are a good fit to recommend that as well. So I recommend having that application funnel in your business, especially one that can segment people to multiple offers. If you have multiple offers in your business, you want to make sure that you are always presenting the thing that makes the most sense for the buyer next after they fill out the application. And finally, the last funnel that I recommend launching. I've seen great success with this for many of my students and something I'm working on myself is a case study funnel. So the case study funnel is kind of like a webinar or a masterclass. But people are on to webinars and masterclasses, right? Like we're smart consumers, we know that you're going to introduce yourself for like 20 minutes and then give 10 minutes of value and then pitch for the last 30. Like people understand that's the process and frankly, I think people are kind of sick of it. So anything that can be a pattern interrupt, it can be different, it can still get the same point across. Ultimately, a webinar's goal is to shift the Watchers views on things. Right. And shift them in a way so that your product makes sense at the end. That's the whole goal of a webinar, is to make sure that people see things differently, learn something new, have a new viewpoint where your product is the new solution. So that's why they do masterclasses and webinars in the format that they do. Right. Like everything is based on belief shifting. But if you can really double down on results that you've gotten for existing students and you can do a case study instead. Our attention spans are a lot shorter than they used to be. We used to get, you know, 60 minutes. I used to do webinars for like two hours and people would stay the whole time. It's crazy. I don't think that would happen now. But point aside, now all you need to do is create like a 20 to 30 minute case study going through stories of your customers. And if the watcher can identify themselves in the stories that you're sharing, that's going to create that same transformation that an entire 60 minute webinar would be in a much more condensed format. So you're sharing stories in the form of case studies and you can automate it so you can have it a video that shows up, you can run ads to it. I know a guy who doesn't even pay for any ads at all. The only type of traffic he gets is by having paying other Instagram accounts who shout out his case study on their stories. And he gets enough traffic from that that he doesn't run any ads. All he does is a shout out master this shout out method towards his case study video. It's amazing. So that's really a different idea that I think a lot of people aren't doing the biggest thing for 2023 and beyond when it comes to digital marketing. And what people are doing is that pattern interrupt. Because there is so much saturation in the market right now that you gotta be different. You've gotta have a good hook. You really need a good story and a good new opportunity, something that is different than what anyone else has seen to get their attention, get them excited about it and click into your ad and into your funnel to check you out and see what you're doing and see if you can help them and really making it about them. I think that's something I've preached since day one. Right. Like we want to make sure that any marketing, every single person in existence is going through their day and they're wondering what's in it for me. Why should I pay attention to this? How is this going to benefit me? It's nothing against you. You're awesome, obviously, but they just get to that point where it's. Everybody wants to know what? How is this going to help me in my business? What's in it for me? We are little egomaniacs running around. So you gotta make sure your marketing answers that question. Everything needs to be focused on the person who is potentially going to buy your program in making it about them. So hopefully this is helpful. Those are the four types of funnels. I do have links to these funnels. I could give you the funnels if you want. Just let me know if you want share funnel copies. I'm always, you know, selling different variations of that inside of my tiny offer. So I probably have something available for you. If you want to implement one of these types of funnels, just let me know. Send me a dm. Which one's your favorite? What are you most excited about? Even leave a comment on this video too. Or if you're listening to the podcast, leave me a review and tell me what you like learning about funnels and what type of funnel you really want to implement inside of your business. All right, that's it for me for today. Thanks so much for being here and I will talk to you soon. Thanks for watching.
