What Do I Need to Start a Sales Funnel?

You need three things before buying ads: a landing page to capture emails, a follow-up sequence, and a way to sell. Build these first, then drive traffic.
So one of the biggest questions that people ask me, typically when they're starting to think about traffic, they're starting to think about growing their business, bringing in more leads. They think, where do I start? How do I know which traffic sources I need to be on? How do I know what messages to share, where? And the most important thing that I can't stress enough is that you must 1000% have a funnel in place before you are even considering being visible on social media or Facebook or. That's like the same, same thing, right? Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, like YouTube, podcast, anything that you're doing in an effort to connect with more people, you absolutely must have an easy way for people to get in contact with you and give you money. Because you're a business owner, it's okay. It's okay to ask for money. So what that can look like from a simplistic standpoint, if you're just getting started, it could literally be a button that links to a calendar to book a discovery call with you. That is a funnel, a page with an application or even with a button to a calendar link to finding time on your calendar, collecting, maybe collecting their email address in the process. That is probably one of the most simple funnels that you could design. So if you're just getting started and you have an idea of what you want to sell, you can easily throw a couple steps up, even on a WordPress page. Doesn't have to be clickfunnels, doesn't have to be a funnel building software. The key is you have to have a way where people can give you their email, give you their name, so that you can get in touch with them sooner. I think so. Many people have said to me, I wish I had started building my email list sooner. I wish I had focused on it. But a lot of people start with traffic instead of starting with having a funnel, having a way for people to get on your list, get in contact with you, or for you to get in contact with them.
