A certified yoga teacher breaks down Upward Facing Dog, focusing on foot placement, knee position, and chest opening. She's hosting an Adjustments Assist intensive in Las Vegas the first weekend of October with hands-on guidance.
Here's the best way to do an adjustment in upward facing dog, urdhva mukha svanasana. Bring your feet to the side of their hips. You'll bend your knees, kind of knock knee inward so that your knee is at the bottom of the scapula. The movement here is in the hands. The knees are used to keep the back straight. Press back and open up. And if you want us to touch you all over your body, make sure that you come to Las Vegas the first weekend of October and do an Adjustments Assist intensive weekend
