Here's your 1-minute yoga teacher training. Today we're gonna talk about Surya Namaskar A. How do we modify Sun Salutation A for people who have trouble getting up and down off of the ground? Well, we're gonna start with our feet together, toes and heels together. And then I just ask them to inhale, reach the arms to the sky, and exhale, fold forward, bring the hands onto the shin. Inhale, look up and lengthen. Exhale and fold. Inhale, arms reach up to the sky. Exhale, hands to the heart center. If it feels good to them and they want to, you can always bring these feet just a few inches apart from each other so that they have a little bit more of a stable base. Because for some people, bringing the feet together isn't very comfortable. You just want to ask them to bring your feet apart. They don't have to come into downward facing dog, urdhva mukha svanasana. They don't have to do chaturanga dandasana. They don't have to do any of that stuff. Nobody has to do anything. The whole thing is about just flowing and breathing. Make sure that you're cueing with the breath. So we're gonna do this together. Inhale, reach up. Exhale and fold forward. Inhale, look up and lengthen. Exhale and fold. Inhale, arms reach to the sky. Exhale, hands to the heart center. Go ahead and light up that follow button. I've got so much to share with you.
