Have you ever wondered what the steps are to becoming a certified yoga teacher? Typically, but not always, you'll want to take a yoga teacher training course. Sometimes people will work with you one-on-one. That's more rare, but it's awesome when you can find it. Requirements and length of training usually varies. They say 200 hours, you should be getting 200 hours of instruction. And if you aren't, run away from that training. They're cheating you. Usually there's a combination of actually practicing yoga, history and philosophy of yoga, physical anatomy of yoga, sequencing classes and actual practice teaching. After completing a training, you can go out and teach. You'll get certification at that time if you want to register with an organization. You do not have to do that, but you can register with Yoga Alliance or Yoga Unify if those organizations accredited your school. Encourage you to gain experience teaching in as many different platforms and places as you can. Teach at gyms, teach at schools, casinos, teach at spas, teach at nursing homes, teach in
