I became a millionaire at 24, and here are a few things that I have learned that money does not change. Number 1 is you are only as rich as the people in your life that surround you. And I'm not just talking about family specifically, because I know we aren't all blessed with amazing family situations. In fact, I have a very small family. I'm talking laughter with your best friends, traveling with people that you love, like seeing people that you love, making them happy, spending time with them. That to me is rich. If you have money but you don't have that, in my opinion, you're not rich. If you don't have money, but you have that, you are rich. I truly feel like I've been blessed with the best friends in the whole world and the most amazing husband. And I know that no matter what the number in the bank account says or anything about what work I'm doing at the time, I will have these people. And I'm so grateful for that. And I know that that's something that money can't buy, and I will never take it for granted. Number 2, and this should have been number 1 because this is the most important, it's having the Lord. And before you roll your eyes at me if you're not a Christian, I wasn't. I was raised very, very not Christian. I was Honestly, probably borderline atheist. I was just like very prideful. Me, me, me. There can't be a God. That's just something stupid people believe in. Long story short, my testimony is kind of crazy. But if you knew the girl that I was before I was saved, you, you probably could tell the Bible pierces your heart in a way that no other thing that you could read could, because it's not just a book. It's genuinely the words of God. I could yap about it so much, but ultimately you could have all the money in the world, but if you are not saved, where are you gonna go after you die? Being able to be humble enough to understand and have the wisdom to know that the world doesn't surround you because you have money. In fact, it's just a number, and it's very fleeting as well. And the minute you die, which could be any single day, it just goes to the next person, and it was all in vain. So if you don't have God, think about how fleeting your wealth is. Number 4, money doesn't buy personality and authenticity. You can get so wrapped up in, again, working, money, whatever, toiling after that, that you almost like lose touch of the beautiful things that we get to enjoy in life. For me specifically, I love painting, I love playing piano, I love working out, I love music. I want to be able to not get overwhelmed with dopamine and being on my phone that I don't have the desire to read anymore or bake or play piano or do those things that I grew up loving. And if you're watching this and you're like, oh, I would feel this way when I had this amount of money— no, you won't. And do not identify with that because that should never be what determines the mood or mindset that you have. Understand that family and God fulfill far more than any riches. I haven't really done a talking video like this and I'm a little nervous, but I hope you guys liked it. Bye! Bye!
