Okay, if you're a TikTok Shop affiliate or you're looking to be one, I wanted to share this epiphany that I had today. January's just been a little slower for us affiliates because TikTok's rolling out new programs and sales have been down, yada yada, whatever. And I was just feeling a little discouraged because my sales were higher last month, and I saw this email that really stood out to me and just— I had an epiphany. It was an email from this nursing website that I subscribed to a long time ago when I was a new grad nurse, and it was for an ICU nurse position. Keep in mind, the ICU is very high intensity. These 3 12-hour shifts a week, and the gross pay per week is $2,600. And this position specifically is nights, literally 12-hour night shifts. And I'm just sitting here so full of gratitude and remembering why I started this. Yesterday I did $4.2K in one day, literally one day. That is almost double that nursing weekly salary for an ICU nighttime travel nurse position. We truly as affiliates are so blessed. Or if you just make money from your phone and you've left whatever your 9-to-5 was or your previous occupation It is so important for us to remember how much of a blessing this is, even when it feels down in comparison to what we've seen. Just remember how far it's gotten us. And also, if you're someone who hasn't seen these kinds of numbers yet, just know that it's so possible. I was literally just a new grad young girl starting TikTok Shop, determined to make it work, and here I am in a beautiful apartment in Miami with my husband, working from home, living what a lot of people would consider a dream lifestyle of traveling and just being able to have time and location freedom. When if I never tried this or took this risk, I would still be nowhere near the place I'm at right now. Gratitude is just so important. If you remember where you started and also why you're doing it, it will help so much despite whether you've seen big results yet or not. I love you guys so much. I resonate with all of you. I feel like I felt all the emotions that TikTok shop and even just like taking risks working from your phone can bring. And so I just want to share this because Holy cow, I could not imagine if I was working 3 12-hour night shifts right now only to maybe make like $6,000 to $7,000 after taxes a month and still probably barely be paying off debt from school and all that other stuff. Like, wow.
