The number one objection in any negotiation is usually, why is your offer so low? And as someone who runs a six-figure land flipping business in 2 hours per day from his home, here's how I would answer it word for word. This works on most sales in general, but here's my reply that's tailored for land deals. We use market data, recent sales, and cost associated with preparing the property for improvements. What we do is we buy with cash so you avoid agent fees, closing costs, and the uncertainty of the open market. I always like asking as well, too, saying that It sounds like you have a different price in mind. Would you share how you came up with your expectation? And saying something along those lines does two things. It sets you up as a professional with the authority and the upper hand since you have data to back up your price. It challenges them to logically prove their price, which sellers never do in practice. And if you found this video helpful, I have a whole free guide of 18 of the most asked questions answered for a land flipping business. Just comment guide and I'll send it to you your way for free.
