A Woman Who Wants For Nothing Gets Everything

In this extended April Mason Vault video, Mason explains her core philosophy that a "woman who wants for nothing"—a woman who does not operate from a place of lack—can obtain everything she desires. She argues that many women tie their self‑worth to external validation, especially from men, and that this neediness leads to settling in relationships, jobs, friendships, and business opportunities. By adopting a mindset of non‑need, rooted in feminine identity and self‑value, a woman can negotiate from a position of power, refuse compromise on sub‑par offers, and attract opportunities without desperation. Mason illustrates the concept with personal anecdotes of extreme scarcity (eviction notices, stealing toilet paper from a library, using it as sanitary napkins) and how she acted as though she already possessed abundance, eventually becoming a six‑figure earner. She ties the mindset to her "Identity Switch" framework and promotes her book and website for further guidance. Throughout, she emphasizes that the shift is internal—recognizing one’s worth, refusing to be a "needy" or "thirsty" woman, and maintaining confidence even when external circumstances are challenging. The talk blends motivational storytelling, practical negotiation advice, and a call for women to embody feminine creation on demand.

Welcome to the April Mason Vault, where videos were originally recorded between 2007 and 2025. Some episodes were recorded during private trainings, courses, and community events. The conversations' name, cultural references, and production quality reflect the time in which they were recorded. However, the principles remain timeless. Ladies need to understand what I mean when I say a woman who wants for nothing gets everything, and I'm not talking about a man. Can it be applied to that? Yes, but as you know here We do not talk men and relationships in the app because this is all about you. And so many times women funnel their value and their worth and their validation through a man. Men are great, we love them, we actually need them. However, let becoming a better woman for you first be your motivation. So a woman who wants for nothing— and this is my opinion of this— is a woman in a position to make demands. Okay, this is what I mean by that. Wanting says that you do not have, and when you are a feminine woman, you know I've taught you that feminine women can create on demand. So when you don't walk around with this want energy, you're in a position For people to acquiesce to your requests. For instance, when you're in want, it means that you are in lack, which means you only continue to attract lackful situations and gives you even more to constantly complain about. However, when you're a woman who wants for nothing, it puts you in a position where you yourself will not compromise because you have this standard that you have set for yourself, so much so that you will not betray yourself. So you will not compromise on BS, whether it's men, whether it's the promotion on your job. Because when you're talking about your job, we're talking about I know my value, so I'm not all excited because you gave me a job. I know I'm an asset here and what I bring, so I can see what you're offering. And because I'm not lacking or wanting anything— this doesn't mean you don't have bills that need to be paid, this doesn't mean that you're not in any type of need or the rent need to be paid or whatever, it doesn't mean that. It means that, you know, as a feminine woman, I have value. So although I might not know today how I'm going to feed my kids tomorrow, I will not walk in needy energy. So when you understand that your needs will be provided for because you are a feminine woman that can create on demand, you are in a position to even know you need that raise. You desire the raise. The raise is more of— it was something that will help you Get to that next level and make sure you got food on the table all the time. When they present you with the offer, although you see yourself as "Ooh, child, I need this," and you might jump at the offer, when you are a woman who wants for nothing, even in a dire strait, you still know your value. So you can still say, "I looked at the offer." And let me say this, because of the asset that I am to the company in this way, I believe that what you're offering is generous. However, it's not in alignment with the results that I get for your company. Now, like I said, your rent can still be due. Yeah, your car note could still be due, but because you understand your value, you You're not gonna just— what the song say? All you gotta do is say yes. You don't have to do that. Okay? You do not have to do that. So a woman who wants for nothing is all about the energy that you reside in. Okay? It helps you not settle for men you shouldn't be dealing with. It helps you not settle for friendships or opportunities that if you did not have the value within yourself, you would jump at. But because you understand who you are and want for nothing, you will get everything because you will not settle for anything. That's where most women miss it. That's where they miss it. Because, oh, I haven't had a good man in a long time, so I'm gonna latch on to the very first one that I got because Miss April was teaching us how to be feminine, and me being feminine, I'm attracting a different type of men. Oh, I haven't had that in a long— Ever. Long time, or if ever. So I'm gonna latch on to the first good one that comes along versus saying, wait a minute, I'm no longer that needy woman anymore. You've sat in the parking lot after another date wondering what's wrong with you. Nothing is wrong with you. You don't have a love problem. You have an identity problem. Identity Switch Your Love Life by April Mason at aprilmason.com. This is what I'm supposed to have. I'm supposed to have people around me that treat me right. I'm supposed to have people around me that are full of opportunities that they want to give to me. I'm supposed to live nice. I'm supposed to dress nice. I am supposed to drive nice. I'm supposed to have money in the bank. I'm supposed to have health. Okay, these are not things that I'm going to be all excited about. It's kind of like a person that says he take good care of his kids. He's supposed to. He's father. You don't get points for that. You don't get points for what you're supposed to have. So when you know what you are, what your value is, and what you are, what your life should look like, you don't jump at things that should be normal to your life because you want for nothing. You're supposed to go to nice restaurants. You're supposed to be able to go shop where you want to. So if somebody coming into your life want to take care of all your bills and take care of you and all of that, It's not a, oh my God, girl, he the one. It's not that, because these are things that you should be able to do for yourself. So you shouldn't be able to be swayed by, I'm going to give you a promotion, but yet the promotion that you're getting does not take care of your bills comfortably. You still have to stress, you still got to go Uber Eats, you still got to do Instacart. You're worth more than that. So a woman who wants for nothing puts herself in a position to negotiate whatever it is that she chooses, okay? Whatever she chooses, because she knows her value. And because she's not weighing her value because she doesn't have the car she wants, but because she doesn't— may not live in the place that she wants, because she might have an EBT card, or she might have been used to being treated mishandled by men Right? Although that might be her current reality in that moment, she doesn't live or value herself by those things. My value comes from the fact that I am a feminine woman and I'm an asset to whatever it is I touch or come in contact with. So anything that I teach here, it can be applied to whatever you are settling on, whether it's a man, whether it's a job, whether it's friendships, whether it's a business opportunity, Whatever you're taking because, girl, I just got to do it right now, because all of that. Although I want you to make sure you understand, although you might be in a place of need, you're not in a place of want. Because when you are in a place of want coupled with need, you do whatever, you take whatever. Okay? This requires a complete mind shift. This requires understanding of who you are as a woman. You can't take what I teach and try to implement your old behavior into it because you won't see it work for your life. And if you do see it work, it will be random. I always teach random thinking gets you random results. So either you in or you out. You're out. You either believe that I'm a feminine woman and I can have whatever I want. No, I might not have it now. Nope, I may not have no furniture in my house. Nope, I might not live in the best neighborhood. Nope, I may have all of these other issues going on, but guess what I'm not gonna do? I'm not gonna be a woman that wants for anything. So becoming a woman who wants for nothing requires you to go within and not look at your outer circumstances. It doesn't mean that you don't know that they exist. But what it means is you look at what is, you accept it. Okay, right now I don't have my rent money, but you know what? It's gonna happen. So I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm not going to stress myself worrying about it because I've done everything that I can do. Here comes the new job offer, and they're offering you less than what you were making at your last job, or even right at what you were making at your last job. And in your mind, when you are in that alignment of I want for nothing, you can still walk in there with 2 months rent past due and still negotiate a better salary because you're not jumping at the opportunity because you're looking at the— your reality. Okay, you still can say, you know what, Thank you for the offer. But you position yourself as you're doing them a favor, not them doing you a favor. But you can only be in that type of alignment when you own who you are and you choose to be a confident woman. When you choose to not say, what if they say no? So what? And it's not like you've never been told no before. But it will be the first time you stood up for yourself. It will be the first time that you really walked in your power and start owning who you are. You can only make moves like this when you say, I refuse to sit back and be a needy, thirsty, living in lack type of woman, even when I am technically in a place of need. Because once again, I'm not saying you only do this when you don't need anything. I'm saying you move like this even when you do. That's how you start to change what's coming in your life. I posted something on Instagram. Let me see, I think it was last month. I started some trouble. Y'all know I'll be starting trouble. I started a little trouble. I wrote, women who insist on carrying strong and independent energy will always attract situations they have to be strong enough to carry. And independent enough to do it on their own, then wonder why no one ever comes to their rescue. What that means in conjunction with this is until you stop jumping at opportunities because of lack, you will never change the trajectory of what it start what is coming towards you. It comes a point in time where you have to stop. You have to stop, and even though. It's unknown and it's scary. You have to go through the emotional pain that comes with the change. So the more you want to be independent, the more people won't come to the damsel in distress's rescue. The more you want to be strong, the more you're going to keep attracting things into your life that you have to be strong about. The more you want, the more wantful situations are going to come in your life, and you will have the same story until you say, Even in the midst of hell, I want for nothing because I'm a feminine woman and I create on demand and I attract what it is that I want because I am a magnet to whatever it is that I desire. I am needed, wanted, and pursued by all things good. So when you start to walk in that despite of what in front of you Or what's going on, it changes everything. That's honestly how I changed my poverty story. That's how I did it. Everybody wonders, how did you become a six-seven-figure earner? Because when I didn't have it, I acted as though I did. When I got eviction notices on my door, I acted as though the money was coming. Yesterday, while we were at Six Flags and my daughter brought Her new— look like it's gonna be her new boo. We were talking and conversation got deep. I said, see, people don't understand. They just think I woke up like this. Now I do. I wake up like this now, honey. But I started explaining to— because I had completely forgot when I used to have to literally go to the library and steal toilet paper from the library because I didn't have any money to do it. All while I'm trying to start this business. So I'm still operating and trying to get these businesses off the ground and doing what I need to do, but I didn't have money for toilet paper. So the kids would come home and then, you know, the big old big round— they about this big around toilet paper, one-ply. Oh, they like, oh, we got the good tissue today, we got the big one. Because Mama didn't have to put it in her purse, honey, because I had to go to the library to do work because my internet was off. And we needed some toilet paper. And I had— I didn't have enough money to drive even around the corner to the library, so I walked. So even in the midst of not having toilet paper, I still was pushing forward as though I was not in a place of lack. My kids yesterday, my 2 oldest, were like, Mom, we didn't even know how broke we were. We were living in Buckhead and didn't have no furniture. My son was laughing. He said, we had a plasma TV with antennas. You ain't supposed to have no plasma TV. With no antennas. They had no idea. Sleeping on air mattresses. But we was living in Buckhead though. For those that know Atlanta, before Buckhead got crazy, it was more of the Beverly Hills of Atlanta. So my kids didn't know exactly how broke we were, but all they knew was mom was always on that computer trying to figure something out. We don't know how we doing it, but she is. Okay. I got to the point where I didn't want to wait for, what do you call it, tax time to be the only time I got a lump sum of money and $5,000 and $6,000 and $7,000. That ain't no money. That's not money. I didn't want that to be the exciting time of the year. I wanted to get that on a regular basis. There comes a moment when you can finally look in the mirror and say, I've become that woman because I made the switch. Identity Switch: Becoming the Woman Who Gets What She Wants. By April Mason, available on Amazon and wherever books are sold. And how did I do it? Even in the midst of not having toilet paper, I wanted for nothing. Let me say that again. Even in the midst of not having toilet paper and have to steal it from the library, I still wanted nothing. And I'll even take it a little deeper than that. That toilet paper was also used as sanitary napkins because I didn't have money to go get any of them. So when I speak and when I tell you ladies you can do whatever you want to do, I'm not saying this because I haven't been through it. I just don't look like what I've been through. Yes, those were the days. So when you want for nothing and no matter what's coming at you and you still keep moving you will have your victory. And what it does is it allows you to not settle for anything in any area of your life. In no area of your life you will not settle. So yes, ladies, wanting for nothing will always get you everything because you're in a posture to where you're not just going to jump at anything.
