She Did This and Suddenly Attracted Completely Different Men

April Mason coaches women on attracting specific types of men by aligning their femininity, style, and mindset with the partner they want. She argues beauty opens doors but sustained feminine energy keeps a man interested, and recommends defining your ideal partner, purging unflattering clothes, and forming accountability groups to reinforce the identity shift.

Your attraction advantage. What that is, is what you look like, how you present. Have you all decided what type of man that you need? What kind? You look like you ain't all the way, you kinda, but no. The woman you're becoming, what kind of man would she want? See, if you're not meeting men that with money and want to spend money on you, it's how you're showing up. They got a little bit. I'm just talking about for the life. Yeah, but it's how— it's on you. It's so easy when you become that woman to attract men with money. That's the easiest thing you can do. So that's why I said you have to decide what type of woman you're going to be, which will determine the type of man that you get. So that's why I said make sure you write down what type of man do I need. Everybody ain't gonna have Boaz. Somebody gotta have Peter. John, Bartholomew, Michael, they all in different categories, but it doesn't mean they're not great men. But sometimes women have this tunnel vision on how much money he needs to make, all of the kind of other little things they need from him. But are you being the kind of woman that that type of man would choose? Did you come to the party? You didn't come to the party. No, not that party. I mean, did you— didn't come to my Halloween party? Birthday? Well, it was the Halloween party that I did, and I was Jessica Rabbit. And I had on this red wig and everybody, when I posted on internet, they was like, girl, that red look good on you, Ms. April, you should do that on a regular basis. Now, it was cute, she was cute, everything was where it needed to be. However, I wouldn't wear a red wig on a day-to-day basis. Also, if I went to my man's company party on Halloween looking like that, oh, that's fine. Let me show up like that to the job, hey baby, the next day. It's not gonna happen. It doesn't mean you can't do that, but you have to decide what type of individual that that will actually work for, right? So that's what I mean when I say— you say you don't want nobody that don't have no money. Well, what are you throwing out that you get men that don't have money for the long haul? Because there's men that are financially grounded and stable all over the place, but would they choose the woman you are— you're being now? So do you have to make some changes in order to get that financial stability that you want? Well, men have told me throughout the years, the easiest woman to get— women to get over on are the extremely beautiful women. They're the easiest to get over on because they've always used their looks to get in the room, but they haven't developed anything else. I always tell you, your beauty will get you in the room, but your femininity is your currency that will keep you there. And they don't have that part. And it doesn't matter if you're society's definition of beauty or not. Femininity is the key component because it's every man's kryptonite. So you can see a man that is extremely attractive, but women will be like, oh my God, but she is size 18. What do you see with her? She ain't going nowhere because how she makes him feel. So it doesn't— none of that other stuff that we pay attention to actually matters if you're not using your feminine energy. That's why your attraction advantage— you have an attraction advantage when you are operating in the feminine. You just got to decide, who do I want to become, you know? And am I willing to let go of all of the other foolishness to become her and stick by it, even if I have to have sticky notes all over the place? How would she dress? Does the woman that I want to become— does my attire, is it indicative of who I want to become? If it's not, get rid of it. If it don't make you look like a 10, throw it away. Sell it, put on eBay, Poshmark, or whatever the little other sites are. Throw it away.
Okay, yesterday you were telling us a story about the dress, you know, yes, and about women like her. I think you— there must be some that have become, you know, the feminine woman, not from after doing it for over 10 years.
So which The ones that get it, they're willing to let go of what they thought they were to become something else. They don't get so defensive because I can be hard. I can be real sweet, but then I can be very hard, and I do that on purpose because the women that get it, it's the women that I had to be hard on. When I'm not hard, it'd be like, okay, we said we're gonna twirl. And I was telling the guy, matter of fact, the guy downstairs, he start— the concierge, one of them, he started following me. He asked me the question, he said, what is the main— he's asking me why, why was I quitting, and if I could tell him one of the main couple of things that women have not done that something like that I don't approve of, something like that, or what was something that I saw. And a lot of that had to do with unrealistic expectations, and I gave the story of how I didn't realize I had got up to a size 16 when I was married until I walked by the mirror at Walmart and I was like, oh hell no, because I'm not aware that I went from jeans to jeggings. You went from a small shirt to an extra large because I'm not aware. But in my mind, I'm still that size 6, so I'm still thinking I'm her. And I'm like, uh-uh, this is not it. Me and 16 don't work for me and my 5'3" frame, right? But it's the same thing that women do in their mind. Because I have all— I look good on paper, I'm the shit. But you're not, because it— what's on paper has not yielded you the result that you want. So that's the part that people don't pay attention to. So the women that listen, they are the ones that strip themselves all the way down and start over, right? They do they end up being a little bit harder on themselves than I actually am because they're like, no, I'm gonna get this if I gotta do this. They have accountability. So one of my first group of ladies— Paula, Chrissy, uh, Crystal, Tara, Teresa, Lisette— and it's a couple more. They are, they are all each other's accountability partners. The only two that are not married just yet are Lisette and Tara. But all of the rest of them are, and Paul is engaged. So they hold each other accountable to the training that they got. They go on girls trips together to make sure that they're in alignment. They change their friend circle because people around them didn't understand.
