Hey loves, April Mason here, and I have something to tell you. I've completed this chapter. For nearly 20 years, I've sat across from women and men in rooms, on screens, in communities, and I've been teaching one central truth, and that truth is everything you're being on the inside will determine what you experience on the outside, especially in the area of love. I gave this chapter everything I had, starting with my very my very first YouTube video in 2008. Now that seems like a long time ago. I made the femininity conversation a mainstream topic on social media well over a decade ago. I have helped thousands of women who desire marriage to get engaged and married within a year with a 90% success rate. Check my receipts. I've given men and women the blueprint to not only attract better love but to learn how to choose what they entertain. So last year, 2025, I was sitting there planning out my vision for 2026 with expansion, scaling, TV shows, podcasts, elevation. But my body said otherwise. And if I'm being honest, she's been talking to me for a very long time, and I was being hard-headed and I just wasn't listening. So no matter how hard I would try to move forward with my plan, my body simply wasn't allowing it. She wasn't saying no to, like, expansion. She was saying no to expansion in that direction. So my Doctor, she actually put me on a fun, passion, pleasure, excitement, sensual, sexy, adventure, and joyful prescription. What my body was asking for was to be honored along with my creative side that I have put on hold and suppressed for years because I was busy helping y'all become better and make identity switches. Now, when I finally got quiet enough, I listened. And what hit me was this: no matter the phone call, the email, the voicemail, when people stop me in public, at the grocery store, on the airplane, on the train, all of their questions rendered the same answer from me. And the answer was always identity, which has always been my message from the beginning. Honestly, I used the bait of dating to get your attention, but I was always teaching identity and feminine presence. That was was always my work, but y'all just wanted to hear it through the lens of love. So instead of expanding, I consolidated. I shut down several of my lucrative businesses, and I took everything that I have been teaching and put it in one final offering for you. And that is my new book called Identity Switch Your Love Life. You don't have a love problem, you have an identity problem. And this is the book that I've always been building toward, and this is my legacy. I'm not leaving you just empty-handed. I'm leaving you with this gift before I walk into my new season. And for me, what that new season looks like is a very creative life, my art, and finally being able to finish my spoken word project and diving into producing and directing short films on love, of course.
