Liz shows how to use the Wegmans app and FreshDirect to cut grocery shopping time. Search items, clip coupons that auto-apply, turn recipes into shopping lists, and schedule delivery slots instead of going to the store.
Oh my gosh, Liz, this is too much. I have so much on my list. I am never going to get all this stuff purchased. It's going to take way too much time.
So let's just pull up our app then and we'll go back to the office. We'll make our list there. We can either pick it up later or have them deliver it and forget about this whole trip. Perfect. Let's go. Let's go. Girl, let me show you one of my favorite apps for making my shopping list.
It's the Wegmans app. Oh, this is great.
All right, so when you open it up, it gives you a menu. So the first thing that I really like to do is make my list. So you can click search products, you'll search for any item, you can type it in or pick things that you searched for before, and then you just click the little plus to add it to your list. You can also go in and clip some coupons. So you can go in, it'll tell you all of the coupons that are available, and you can scroll through. I've already clipped them because I want to use them, but you'll just click Clip All, and then when you scan your phone at the checkout, it'll automatically apply them. You can also look through things that you've bought before, so you can look at your frequently purchased items. So it'll give you a whole list of things that you've bought recently, and you can go in and buy them easily. And then you can also go into the Meals tab, and what it will do here is give you a lot of different options of ideas for recipes. And then you can click on them and see what they're offering. And then once you click into the recipe itself, you can select an option to add all the ingredients to your list, and it makes your shopping list for you. So this can definitely save you a lot of time and a lot of energy with grocery shopping.
So let's take a look at FreshDirect. It's a grocery delivery option to save you a ton of time. Sounds great.
So when we actually look at the website, they have lots of different categories, and you can find pretty much anything that you would normally buy at the grocery store on here. And then you can scroll up here, it will tell you time slots that are available for them to deliver your groceries to you. It will also show you your past orders and the things that you buy frequently to make making your list even easier. Perfect.
