Hey, hey, hey. Welcome to the Monday edition of Mid-Morning Meeting. I hope you're getting into your day and that you watched the Oscars last night because let's get into it. The Oscars are an opportunity for you, yes, you, my friends, to get in the news, to get on TV shows, to be on podcasts, to write articles, to be in blogs. What happened last night? So we have what happened with Will, we have what happened with winning awards where women and men of all colors, creeds, sexual orientations, every everything won awards for the first time. That's a conversation, right? What happened with Will and Chris. That's many conversations. There's the violence conversation, there's the protector conversation, there's the generational trauma conversation, and then there's the alopecia conversation. I actually texted a friend of mine— McKenna is her name— she's an amazing woman, amazing motivational speaker, and she happens to have alopecia. And I was— I texted her and I was like, this is it, call every news, right? Because she can be the expert. She can comment on what it's like to have alopecia, what it feels like when people comment about your hair and you're have— you're maybe sensitive about it, what it means, educate the public, right? That's what our news and TV people want. They want us to educate, inspire, inform, and empower their public. So guess what? You are that person to help do it. Even Spike thinks so. He thinks that you should get on it. So I'm gonna challenge you. Are you ready to be challenged? I want you to think about how you can connect your media message to the media that's happening right now about the Oscars, about something that's going on in the news, Because those TV people, right, the producers, the editors, all the people, their job is to get content. And guess what, my friends? You're the content. So let's step up, step big, and have a great week. And let's have a great media week. So what's your story? DM me. You need some story ideas? I'm a great brainstormer. It's actually one of the lovely things that I love to do. So talk to you soon. Bye. Hey, I forgot one more story idea. Lady Gaga and Liza Minnelli came on stage together, and Liza needed a little help, and Lady Gaga, she got her, and she told her she got her. They're mic was on and, uh, Lady Gaga told Liza Minnelli, like, I got your back. It was such a sweet moment. So if you work in that arena, you can refer to that, to what it is like to have elderly parents. And this is an elderly woman who has done amazing things in her life, and she's accepting help from somebody, um, I'm assuming she knows pretty well. But that's a different conversation that's probably not having on the news outlets because they're talking about the stars and what they were wearing and everything else. But how important is that? So remind your contacts what's really important and how you can inspire, inform, and empower. So how are you going to do that today? Let me know. I'm so excited to hear what you're up to.
