Short YouTube discussion offering practical advice for owners/operators on helping teams adopt new processes. Emphasizes consistent repetition, clear expectations, explaining the "why", using external experts (e.g., Good Leap) for technical topics like financing, and preparing talking points rather than assuming immediate uptake.
How do you think owners and operators can help their team get more comfortable with having some of these conversations that may feel uncomfortable to them?
You can't just have your Tuesday morning meetings and say, okay, here's what we're going to do, and then expect everyone to do it. Right. Like, it's not just going to happen, unfortunately. Right, unfortunately. Just making sure, like, you're being consistent. If you have your Tuesday morning meetings and you're going to start talking about using financing or whatever process it is you want to implement, introduce the idea. Yeah. Set an expectation. But realize people probably aren't just going to do it right away. You're going to have some people, but then do it again the next week. Hey, you guys, remember, what's this process? What are we trying to do here? What's the goal of this? What's the why behind why we're doing this? It can be really powerful to just not expect people to automatically understand everything about financing, which you don't have to because you work with Good Leap or whoever it is that can be the expert in that field to help. But you want to make sure that you have the talking points down.
