A portable fence system uses hanging sucker rods instead of a gate, letting bulls enter one side and exit the other. The hooked rods catch animals if they push without dislodging, cutting down fighting and speeding up daily pasture moves.

Okay, I've never seen something like this before, but it's pretty slick. They hang the sucker rods in here, and then instead of a gate, they want to take a bunch through, and all they have to do if they want to let down a side of a pen for another— for bulls to be coming in and out of here. All they do is right there, and they can go in from either— in one side and out the other. And those bulls don't wind up— they wind up and they're not fighting at the gate. And it just takes a minute to do it. And they hook the end of these so that If the bulls get to fighting in here or something, they hit it, that doesn't come out, it just— that'll catch it. It's a pretty slick idea for a temporary pen or a pen that you're holding bulls in that you're gonna wanna do a pasture move on them every day like what they're doing here.
