Are YOU the one giving your bad days power? PTSD TV Monday Motivation
18 Jul 2019 · 32 min
In this Monday Motivation episode of PTSD TV, host Kayleen Wright and her partner Brad Schipke discuss how individuals often unintentionally empower their own bad days through negative thought patterns. They explain the "belief cycle"—thoughts shape beliefs, which drive actions, which reinforce thoughts—creating a feedback loop that can spiral downward. Brad shares his personal experience of falling into this loop, describing how self‑critical thoughts fuel a sense of hopelessness and even affect interpersonal conflicts. The hosts introduce practical strategies such as thought‑swapping (replacing a negative statement with its positive opposite), mindfulness of the moment, and making immediate, conscious choices to stop feeding the negative cycle. They emphasize that coping techniques are useful but not sufficient for true healing; instead, they advocate taking personal power back by making deliberate decisions, acting on them instantly, and building positive momentum. Throughout the episode they promote their "Broken to Unbreakable" PTSD/CPTSD recovery program and a new three‑pillar training webinar, urging listeners to register at overcomingptsd.info/go. The tone is motivational, supportive, and instructional, aiming to empower listeners to reclaim agency over their mental health.

Hey everyone, welcome to PTSD TV. Today is Monday Motivation, and today we are talking about, are you the one giving your bad days power? So this is an awesome episode, and today's episode is sponsored by Broken to Unbreakable, which is my PTSD and CPTSD recovery program. So for those of you who don't know me, my name is Kayleen. I'm a PTSD and CPTSD recovery coach. I help people all over the world recover from their PTSD and their CPTSD. Through the Broken to Unbreakable program. And this lovely man to my right here is Brad Schipke.
I am Kayleen Wright's significant other, and I'm very excited to be here back today after about a month now of working on some other projects. But we're super— I'm super excited to be back. I know Kayleen's super excited to be back as well.
We are very excited to be back, and we have been working so hard over the past 3 weeks, or however long it's, it's been, month. since we stopped doing the podcast to make more time for those other projects for you all. And I think you're gonna really, really like what they are. So we're excited to be back. We're excited to share those projects that we've been working on, and we'll talk about those at the end. And this is, this is my, like, one of my favorite things to do in the morning. So I'm excited to be back, and this is a great episode. For— so for those of you who haven't joined us before, what we're doing here is we're spreading positivity and hope that you can recover from PTSD or CPTSD. You're not alone. I recovered from PTSD after more than 15 years. Brad recovered from PTSD. So you can do this. This is a possible journey. There is a path to healing. And that's kind of what we're here to, to help spread the belief that this is possible and just give some positive advice from our own healing journey and what we've learned along the way and little topics and tidbits. Uh, so that's what we're here to do.
And you need to hear that every single day because every day, yeah, there's so much negative inputs out there and we will say this and we will tell you this constantly, every single day, every single episode, that it is possible to heal. It is possible to recover and to get this out of your life for good. So you're gonna hear us saying that over and over and over and over, and I hope that you keep showing up until you don't, until you're healed, and then we want you to go away and live your life. But we're gonna keep telling you that because it is possible, and there's so many other inputs. And just from yourself, you're like, gosh, like, my life sucks. It is so— it's so hard to go through all this. And like, it feels impossible. I know it felt impossible for me, and it felt impossible for Kayleen. But we want to be those people on the other side to reach back and be like, it is possible. You can do this, and we believe in you.
Very well said. And that's what we dedicate our life to doing, and that's why we work so hard at this. So we're happy to be back, and today we're talking about, are you the one giving your bad days power? Now, this was a huge one for us.
Hint, Yes.
Yes, you are. And we were too. And you're not alone if you're doing this. And, you know, what does it mean to give your bad days power? Like, for you, Brad, what, what did that mean for you?
Uh, really, just, it just meant that, well, first of all, I gave into the negative thoughts, and then I fed the negative thoughts and kind of just built, and I just fed into this negative feedback loop within my mind, which just, and which just spiraled me down in everything. Everything that happens in the physical world happens in your mental world first. So like what's happening in your brain, all the thoughts that are happening in your brain are affecting what actions you take, and what actions you take affect how you feel and the results that you get. And then that just keeps feeding back around and around and around. So like this would happen to me from the moment I woke up, and the first thought that I would have would be like, I'm gonna do this today. Man, yesterday was just brutal. And you like, I would say all these like terrible things about myself. Like, you are such a failure. And like, basically like, you just suck at life and life sucks. And like, I hate life. And like, those thoughts would spiral in my head, which would then give power to my bad days. So really, really, it just comes down to the thoughts in your head. And most of the time, like, you're not even aware of it. And if you are aware of it, it can be— it can feel hard to stop it, you know? And sometimes, like, you don't really want to stop it. There's a part of you that doesn't really want to stop it. And, like, you kind of can feel this in fights too. Like, that's a— that's an easy way to kind of think of it. Like, when we had PTSD, Kaylee and I, we would have tons and tons of fights, and there would be moments of, like, clarity. I'm sure you guys have felt this too, where you're like, Oh my God, I'm acting like a psycho, and like I don't know why I'm yelling at her. And like I can stop right now, but I like there's a part of me that just like wants to keep fighting, you know? And that's kind of a similar feeling that you have in in when you're having a bad day and you're feeding those bad days is like, you know, I feel like I can stop this and I can make the choice, but there's a part of me that just wants to keep feeding into this or wants to press play again on that next episode and just forget about it. for another 20 minutes while I watch this episode of Parks and Recreation. So that's what it means to me. That's, that's kind of like my experience with feeding my own bad days is like, for me, it was all in my thoughts. And like, things didn't start to change until I was first aware of those thoughts and then making that really tough, hard decision, because it is a hard decision to change that.
That's a— I mean, I think that's a great way to put it. And there's like, there seems to be during those really bad days that like when you're feeding into it, and it can come in a lot of forms, like the thoughts and like beating yourself up and just like essentially allowing yourself to kind of self-destruct and to have this bad day and to make it this, this big bad like wolf. I don't know, this big bad day, um, rather than just a moment or just a hard day, you know.
Right.
It becomes like this like awful day. And there seems to be like during that day, during those moments, during those times, like those fleeting moments where you're like, okay, I know what to do and I could do it, but I, I don't want to do it. You know, I don't want to do a coping exercise and try to like get my thoughts back to like neutral, or I don't want to go for a walk, or I don't want to exercise, or I don't want to get out of the house, even though I know that those are the things that always make me feel better.
Right.
Which is really, really tricky, right? And so So either way, you know, if you're doing this, don't beat yourself up. If you're doing this, you're probably beating yourself up already. And, you know, we want to talk about a little bit about why that's so dangerous. And like Brad was saying, like, your thoughts control everything. And if you've ever done any sort of trainings with me, you might have heard of the belief cycle. We talk about the belief cycle. And to put it very simply, because this is audio, right, it's basically like your thoughts control your beliefs which control your actions, which control your thoughts. So just this really simple cycle, and that cycle spirals you up or down exponentially. So what that means is if you have bad thoughts, you have bad beliefs, you take bad actions, which feed your bad thoughts. So you end up with this, like, picture like a screw, right? And you have like a nut in the middle of the screw. Hopefully this translates across the world. I'm not sure that it does, but— You have a screw and you have a nut in the middle of the screw. And when you have negative thoughts and negative beliefs, you know, each time you go through that cycle, the nut screws down to the bottom until you eventually get to a place where you're at rock bottom, where the nut is all the way at the bottom of the screw. And that can work for you or against you, and that can work— you know, you can go up and up and up as well. But basically, through spirals and through kind of feedback loops— and there's a lot of different terms for kind of expressing this— But essentially it just— it can ruin you indefinitely, right?
Right.
And go ahead.
So, so an easy way to think of it is like that, just very basic without thinking of the cycle or anything, is bad thoughts create bad thoughts, good thoughts create more good thoughts. So when you have a bad thought and you feed the bad thought, more bad thoughts are going to come and come and come until you just feel completely overwhelmed. And like Kaylee was saying, it affects Every area, right? Affects your actions, affects your beliefs, affects your entire life, the results that you get in life, and that affects literally everything. But that knowing knowing that and just like that simple term, just like try to like just be aware of that. Like my bad thoughts create bad thoughts. My good thoughts create good thoughts. And you'll find that like this is something that Kayleen teaches in her Broken to Unbreakable program. That if you can catch yourself in that middle of that, in the middle of that negative mind pattern, and become aware of the negative thought, like I hate myself. This is a very simple example, and you switch it to literally to the opposite, and you keep repeating it. So you keep repeating I love myself, I love myself, I love myself in your mind. You don't have to say you can say it out loud out loud if you want to, but if you're like around other people or something. And then you'll find after you say it, you know, say it for a while, like other positive things will start popping up. So, and sometimes it takes a little while because you have so much negative that you have to kind of get back to baseline to then start feeding the positive and feeling the positive. And that's just one very simple technique is taking the opposite of the negative thought that you're having and like forcing yourself to think it because you do have to force yourself to think it because you don't want to think it because like There's such a huge force for the negative, so you have to force yourself to just keep repeating that in your mind. And like, you'll find if like you'll actually start to calm down, you can like take some deep breaths and stuff, and like you'll actually calm down. And like, that is just like one quick, easy, simple trick that you can use anytime, anywhere to flip that around instantly. So like, if you wake up and you have a like a negative thought, like I hate my life, my life sucks, whatever, but like I love my life, I have a good life. And then you'll start thinking about the things that you're grateful for in your life. Oh, like, oh, I have this. Oh, I have this. Oh, I'm freaking breathing. It's like, oh, I have food in the fridge. And like, oh, I have a car that I can drive. Oh, I have a phone. Oh, I can connect with people instantly. I don't know. There's so many good things in the world. But once you start bringing on the positive, more positive things will come and it'll help shift that. And I kind of, kind of took a, took a leap forward to the third thing we're talking about, which is how to stop giving it so much power. But that's That is, that's something that I personally use that really helped in those dark places.
No, and that's really important. And there's so many different ways. And I just want to say something quick because for those of you who are new, you know, I mentioned coping strategies a little while ago, and coping is not the way to healing. So I want to clear that up for a second. Now, there is a place for coping along the healing journey, but coping is not the way to healing. So there's a way to healing the core and like truly healing your past. For good, and there is a path to doing that. But coping definitely has its place, but is not the way to healing. So I just want to clear that up for the new people. And you know how to stop giving up your power? Essentially, just giving your power to these outside forces and to these negative forces is is and this is genuine, but it's just to stop. You know, genuinely make the choice. And there's there's tons of different strategies you can use. You know, to try to get yourself kind of back to neutral if you're in a really negative place. But it all starts with making the choice to stop.
Right.
So, you know, okay, I'm gonna stop and I'm gonna do a mind palace. I'm gonna stop and I'm gonna do, uh, like Brad said, like a thought swapping exercise. Or I'm gonna stop and I'm gonna go for a walk. But you have to make that choice. And so once you make that choice, the power goes back in your hands. You take your power back from this thing, and the most amazing thing happens. And like, if, if you're listening and you like, you're someone who's stuck in these negative patterns and you've maybe like from here on out you'll, you'll start to get it sometimes, but other times you won't. Like, don't beat yourself up. Like, once you learn this and once you're able to do this, like sometimes it's gonna be easy and you're gonna be like, okay, make the choice, and you're gonna make the choice and you're gonna move on and it's gonna be great. And then other times you're not gonna be able to make that choice. It's just like, it is not like a linear kind of thing. It's like not like once you know how to do it, it doesn't necessarily always mean you do it. And so you don't want to beat yourself up there too. It's just like this big Kind of cycle. But it all starts with the choice to take the power back. And along this whole journey, that's— you'll hear me talk a lot about that, to make the choice. Yeah, to take the power back.
It's so, it's so simple, but everything literally boils down to choices and decisions that you make every second of every day. And every second you're making a choice, every second you're making a decision on what to focus on. Like, where are you putting your energy? Where are you putting your mind? And it really, once you boil down, you like pull away all these, these coping techniques, pull away what I just told you. That's just a simple strategy to help you, but you pull all those things away. And at the core, what it is is just like, I need to make the decision to stop giving power to this, to stop feeding this. I need to make the decision to stop, to realize and become aware that I'm just feeding this negative thing and to just Stop. Make the decision to do something else. And like, you're like, okay, okay, great. Thank you. But it really is that simple. It really, really is that simple. It's like, I need to become aware that, oh my gosh, I'm feeding, I'm feeding this negative cycle. I'm in this negative whirlwind cycle and I'm making this a million times worse than it has to be. And then I need to make that decision to switch it around.
It's a hard decision. It's certainly not an easy thing to do. And we're here to, you know, we always say we're here to give you a hug and give you a kick in the butt at the same time. Like this, if someone told us this, we'd be Like, like, that, that's not great advice.
But you can make the decision.
You can make the decision.
The thing is, like, you're gonna be like, Brad, Brad, Kayleen, like, I can't make that decision. And right there, you're just shutting down the entire option, entire option for yourself to make that decision to turn things around for yourself. Because you have the power to turn around. You know that you can do it. There's just that big force inside of you that doesn't want to. So, like, you know that you can do it. You know you can make that decision to just stop, to be like, oh man, I am feeding this. Let's go. Let's do something productive. I have to make that decision all the time.
And you're allowed to have bad days. It's not necessarily like you can't have bad days and you always have to be happy and positive or anything like that. It's just don't feed the bad day. So don't give it more power than it already has. And so just like, if you're having a bad day, just like, just like have a bad day. You're human. You're allowed to have bad days, but don't, don't go and like spiral it and cycle it and and like, you know, not show up to work and eat tons of ice cream and watch tons of Netflix and just like, just like have an off day as a human. And, and it's really important to have an off day in your healing journey and, and just like pause for a minute and remember that you're human. You're allowed to feel iffy. You're allowed to feel bad, but don't give up your power because when you give up your power, it becomes a lot, a lot worse.
Yeah, and you have to look at it like this too, like every bad day that you let go by and every bad day that you give power to just builds the power, right? So it's not just today, it's not just this moment. It's like this moment builds onto the next moment and the next moment is going to be so much harder. It's the snowball effect and it's the momentum. It's the— I don't know if I'm using this right, but it's the inertia. It's the, the force that's pushing you forward. So basically you're just like, the more you feed your bad days, the more you're accelerating Your speed, the faster and faster you're going, going in a negative direction. So like, you want to catch that as soon as possible. So you want to think like, I want to make this decision right now because we don't want you to make this decision tomorrow because that's the thing that you'll say to yourself. Okay, I'll just, you know, I'll have this tub of ice cream today, but tomorrow I'll be better, right? You know, what the hell, you know, but you have to think out into the future. You're not gonna be any more powerful tomorrow than you are right now this second. It's actually gonna be that much harder tomorrow than it is right now, and it's gonna be super hard to do it right now. But things aren't going to turn around until you make that decision. Make that decision now. It's not gonna be any easier tomorrow. It's gonna be harder tomorrow. So always, always try to make yourself make that decision right now instantly. And if you can get yourself to take action instantly like that, like in, in the moment now to change things, If you can get yourself to take that action now, things are going to get so much better for you. Like, because then you'll, you'll, you'll stop that downward momentum and you'll start building up that positive momentum. And you should go check out an episode we did earlier on momentum too, to really kind of drill this in, because we've done a lot of— this is just like one kind of, um, I don't know, one avenue. that you can think of, think of this, like the bad days, giving the bad days power. But go check out that momentum episode too, because that one will really, really, really, really drive this in, in both the, the positive and the negative, um, direction. So go check that out. I think it's— we did it pretty, pretty, pretty early on. I think like episode 7 or something.
We'll try to link it. We'll try to link it below.
Yeah, yeah, we'll link it below.
Make it a little bit easier.
Great. That's all I have for that.
Okay, so, so our action for today is to take your power back in your life, in your bad days, in your recovery. Take your power back. And this is something I talk about all the, all the, all the, all the, all the time because it's really important. Because, you know, nothing matters on this journey if, if you don't have power. And I talk about this a lot. You can't rely on other people. Like, we're here to give you information. And we can do that until we're blue in the face. Like, we can, we can give you information. If you came to the office, like, I could give you information all day long, all week long, all month long, and I can never stop talking. I literally have the ability to never stop talking. And but it doesn't matter unless you put it into action, unless you take the power into your hands and you put action and you take action and, and implement it into your life. We could give you the most valuable information you'll ever hear and That's kind of what this is, you know. And if you don't take action, if you don't have the power, if you don't take your power back, it won't do anything for you. So, you know, that's something I always talk about, is you don't want to rely on other people to feel better. You want the healing in your hands. You want to be able to live your life and not rely on people to feel good, and not rely on people to feel happy or feel at peace or heal your past. You want to take that power and put it in your hands. So that's really important. And we're here to give you this information, and we've been there. That's what's so amazing is we've literally been in your shoes. And on Thursday we do a relationships episode, and that is just like nothing else because— so, I mean, relationships are really hard.
Yeah.
In general. And I read a statistic recently that I didn't know before. And so the divorce rate is 50%. So just, just the divorce rate in general is 50%. And then the divorce rate for people with PTSD is is 70%, which like just kind of like— it actually shocked me. It really did. So 70%. And now, you know, this is something we've been through. We both had it. We both survived it. We both healed from it and, and really have grown from it. And so that's something that— I don't know, it's just, it's just really unique. We really feel for you. That's why we're here. Uh, that's why we, you know, we do everything that we do. I just put together a brand new webinar training A brand new training on how to heal your PTSD, the 3 pillars of PTSD recovery. And that's what we are kind of working on this past month. So many things we were working on, and that's what we're kind of excited to share with you here today. And ultimately what we want to do is we want to get the power back in your hands because we don't— like, we, we love having you all here, we want you all to listen, but we honestly don't want you to listen forever. You know, we want you to be able to go and Live your life and honestly, like, never come back. And that sounds weird, and anyone who like runs a podcast would be like, hey, what are you saying? But that's what we're here for. We're here to give you advice, to get you on your healing journey, to help you to take the steps you need to take to, to heal your past, to live your life, to live as the person you always dreamed of being, and, and like to ultimately like move on and like not have to deal with this stuff anymore. So. So we love you, we're here for you, uh, we want you in our lives, but also we want you out of our lives.
Yeah.
And for you, for your sake. So we have your best interest in mind when we do everything. So today's action, take your power back.
Go.
And if you— this is a brand new training, so even if you've seen old trainings, you haven't seen this training yet. It's super— I'm super proud of it, and I work really hard on these trainings, and I'm doing some this week. And you can go to overcomingptsd.info/go, overcomingptsd.info/go, and join me for a new training this week where again I'm going to talk about the 3 pillars to your PTSD recovery and CPTSD recovery, and it's going to be great.
Yeah, yeah. And ultimately, like Kayleen said, you need to take that power back into your own hands. So often we're waiting around for people to come save us.
Yeah.
Like, that's just like the way it is. It's like I was waiting around for someone to be like, hey Brad, get out of that, get out of that place. And you know, that's part of kind of what we're doing, but really we want to show you that, you know, all the power is in your hands. We can't, we can't pull you out of that dark place. No one can pull you out of that dark place, just you. And there's a lot of ways that you give your power to other people. And one way is just like, I can't do this, is the thought that like I can't do this on my own, or I need somebody to help me or to show me the certain way. Or I don't know, you're just waiting and waiting for someone to do something to help you, and, and no one's gonna come. No one's gonna come because the power is in you. It's always been in you, and you are the only one who can get yourself out of this. And that's what we want to leave you with. And that's really what we're all about teaching is like we don't want to like I don't know we want to put the power back into your hands so you can change your your life and like we don't want you to be dependent on us we want you to take what we learn and change and transform yourself and like that like things didn't start to change for me honestly until until I started to like see that and take responsibility and like full responsibility for everything that I was going through. And I'm not saying this in the best way or the way that I want to really get it across to you guys, but that's when, that's when everything changed. And when you can make that realization that, oh my gosh, like, I've just been letting all these other things dictate my life and like tell me where to go. And it's not just with PTSD, it's like just life in general. It's like you're just taught to be, to think a certain way or to do things a certain way. And like, this is the right way, this is the wrong way. And like, you're not really taught to think for yourself or act for for yourself, you're just essentially like sheep. And like, that's what I was. It's like I just followed this one path of like— I didn't like— I didn't see the power that I had within myself. And I want to help you realize that power that you have within yourself. And I hope that— hope that resonates with you, because that's the message that I would have needed a long time ago to first of all help me get out of those bad days and then just keep pushing to that level of full recovery. And that's Really, the reason why most people don't get to that point of full recovery, or why they believe that it's not possible, is because, you know, they're, they're constantly giving their power away to other people, and they're never like realizing the power that they have within themselves to, to accomplish all these amazing things.
I think that was very well said.
Okay.
And it definitely comes from a place of love and a place of pain. And that's kind of why we do what we do, because it was really, really hard. We, we wouldn't— we literally wouldn't wish it on our worst enemy or the worst person in the world, because everyone at their core is a good person. So if you're listening, if you're out there, if you're saying like— and this was something for me— is like, well, I don't even like deserve this, I'm not a good person. Like, you do. You are a good person. I see that. And hopefully someday you will see that too.
Yeah.
We see that. We, we truly believe in each and every one of you. Each and every one of you can, can make this journey. So, and this is probably something we should address more often too, is like, if you're thinking like, okay, yeah, you guys can do it, but I can't do it, Because of all these reasons, like don't like just stop that right there. That's a negative spiral. That's those are negative thoughts, you know. And and on the training, I I always share my story. I share Brad and I's our story together, and that like I was not in a good position. You know, I wasn't like you get to see me now. I always say you you you get to see the after, but you don't get to see the before. Like no one gets to see the before because like I was alone. Like you know, like no one was. Was there, and it was really hard. And you know, you don't do podcasts at rock bottom. Yeah. So just just keep that in mind. You get to see the after, which is great. But but we've been to the before. We've been to the rock bottom. So so go check out that training. It's overcomingptsd.info/go. It's it's truly something special. I worked really really hard to put this together for you all, and I love putting them on. I love doing them. It's I love every bit of it. And I've been a little sick this past week and that's been a little challenging for me to slow down, but, um, go and check out that training, register for a time, register for a seat. Yeah.
And, uh, if you want to learn how to, how to take that power back into your own hands and really recover, like put recovery into your own hands and like do it on your own terms and not wait around for like certain specialists or specialists or professionals to Tell you to do certain things, and you want to be able to do it yourself and like put that power back into your own hands. So like you feel the power, and you're not like waiting around for all these other people to come save you. You're just tired of being like, like even me, I was like, I was like, I was ashamed to go ask people for help, and I felt like I was a burden to other people. And like, like I didn't want to be that. I'm like, I want to be able to like do this like on my own. I want to be able to like, I want to take the power back. Like when I, when I have like a, like a bad thought or like this. This like super wave of depression, I want to know how to deal with it. I don't want to wait like a week or 2 weeks to see some therapist or something. I want to know how I can handle it today so I can have a great day today. And if you like want to learn that, that's exactly what we teach people how to do. That's exactly what Kayleen spent this last month doing, creating this training, is teaching you how to do that. Go register for it because it honestly will change your life. Like nobody's teaching this kind of stuff. Everybody's telling you that like you're broken, that you need to go see these specialists, and like essentially you're just gonna have to cope forever. But that's just not the case. And like you can take the power back into your own hands. And like that's essentially what we've been doing. Like this is, this is like what Kayleen's been like working on for like the past, I don't even know, like 4 or 5 years on her journey to recovery and beyond, is discovering the way that people can do this on their own to take back the power so they don't have to wait a week to go Find some help so that they can get a solution today, right now, and they can discover the, I guess, the the problem behind the challenges that that they're facing, and then the solution. Have the solution on hand in themselves so they can make a change like instantly. And that's something that nobody nobody out there is is teaching because we've scoured probably like we have. I don't even know how many books we have on this kind of stuff, and like we've gone through all of them and haven't found anything really like it. So. It's definitely worth your time. It's an intensive, intensive training. But if you're not willing to go through that kind of training, like I don't know. I don't know how else to say it. Like if you're not willing to put in the time to help yourself, then things just aren't going to get better. You know, some people are like, Kaelin, your training is way too long. I can't do that. I'm like, you're not willing to. You're willing to go watch a movie or binge watch hours of TV, but you're not willing to spend this little bit of time to. Help yourself and transform your life and the life of your loved ones. You know, like, you just think about how, how much this is impacting your life and you're not willing to put in that little bit of time or that effort. And you guys are already putting that much effort into just showing up to these podcasts, but you have to keep doing that over and over and over and over. And that's what we're here to push you. It's not just one and done. Like, we do stuff to help ourselves grow every single day and it never ends. It's like that's the reality. And once you, once you stop growing, you're dying. So that's really why, like, Kayleen, like, she spent so much time on this this past month. So I really hope that you guys go check it out, get a lot of benefits from it, because really she, she spent a lot of time just trying to like distill the literally like the 3 things. She was like, what are the fundamental 3 things that allowed me and everybody else that I Um, I coach make full recoveries, and she distilled that all down and really laid it out in a really clear and just helpful way. So definitely go check that out. You'll leave just like, oh my gosh, this is a completely new person. So it is a great training.
I so appreciate that and all your kind words, and I feel the passion out of you, honestly. And, um, I told you I have the ability to talk for weeks on end, months.
Oh my gosh.
So I really did distill it. So it's not just something that's thrown together at I spent the last month working on it, and that's why I couldn't be here. Just spending so much time putting this together for you, to serve you. This training will absolutely serve you like nothing else has. So definitely go check it out.
And you know us, we're not gonna BS you. We're not gonna give you some like, hey, you can do this in a day, boom.
So go check it out. Go register for it right now, overcomingptsd.info/go. You know, if you like the podcast, give us a like, give us a subscribe, come back. Today's Monday motivation, tomorrow's Tuesday book club, and then Wednesday recovery workshop, Thursday is relationships, and Friday is our Q&A. So we're working back up to the full schedule. So this week I think will be a little bit of a short week. Like I said, I've been a little bit under the weather, so we're gonna do a Wednesday episode and a Thursday episode, and then next week will be our first full week back. So we appreciate all your patience, and we appreciate you all listening to old episodes. And there's honestly, there's not too many times that you can listen to those old episodes because they're, they're super duper good. And everything that we've ever learned, a huge lesson in everything that we've learned is you don't get everything out of it the first time. You like, you just don't. So you can listen to things literally 100 times and get something different each time. And that is, is a, a something that we learned and that has been super, super helpful.
Yeah.
Is not just like, okay, listen to it and then put it away forever. It's like, listen to it and then like listen to it again and listen to it again. And it's been— it's— that's been a big lesson.
Well, that's what they do in school. They teach, teach it to you once, you cram it in for the test, and then you forget it. So like, learning from that mistake, repetition really, really helps you learn. Okay, great.
So like, comment if you love us, or if you hate us, make sure that you rate us and go check out that training. And we will see you all tomorrow. We love you, we believe in you, we're here for you. And we hope you have a great rest of your day.
One thing that makes me laugh is like sometimes I just say something and you're just like, okay, great.
And okay, great.
But yes, we love you and we'll see you tomorrow.
All right.
Or the next day, whatever.
Okay, great. Bye-bye.
Bye.
