I Tested Claude Duet So You Don't Have To (Here's What It Can Actually Do)

In this video, Brad Costanzo logs into the Claude Duet research preview and provides a live walkthrough of its interface and core capabilities. He explores the "Channels" feature, showing how each channel acts as a specialized agent with its own instructions, memory, files, and task list, and demonstrates creating a channel for a design system guide. He then examines the "Make" workflow, where Claude Duet can automatically generate webpages and other artifacts, pull in content from his personal "Company Brain" (a Google Drive repository of templates, style guides, and other assets), and publish the result to a subdomain. Throughout the demo, Brad highlights how the system proactively suggests tasks based on his email and existing files, manages content planning with style‑guide‑aware drafting, and allows fine‑grained control via channel settings. The video ends with Brad offering the guide to viewers and directing them to his acceleratedintelligence.ai site for further AI workflow resources.

Okay, here I am in Claude Duet. I've got the research preview. We're going to do a quick review, see how it is. This is the first time I just logged in. This is a test flight app. So, uh, let's see what we can do here. Channels, everything. I'm Claude. This is, by the way, this is basically Muse, Hermes, OpenCLAW, probably similar to GrokBot, et cetera, but this is Claude's version. So the whole thing where this is different is it runs all the time. It can do all these things proactively. I run relationships, how I'll help, what I'll do. Uh, I was asking questions. So now I can just chat with it and I can tell it what to do. So I could say, I just want to see if it knows this in the memory. It should. It's attached to my Claude. Company Brai is where I keep all my stuff. And I go, yes, it's there. All right. So it's actually bringing up, I've got to do this. I have a, like a speech outline, et cetera. Found 3 things it could take off my plate. Let's just see. Hide, hide, hide. Okay, cool. I think it just showed me those. So then what it's got down here is it's got tasks. So these are tasks that it thinks it could do based upon probably what's in my email and in my system, et cetera. If I do this, I'm going to click. Okay. I can send messages. I'm not going to do that right this minute. Now, Make is interesting. It says, uh, okay. Making webpages. These are things that I've done. I guess these are maybe like artifacts, right? So let me just, if I click here, this was something I made in Claude. Earlier about company brains. If you need one, let me know. All right, cool. These are pages, documents, basically artifacts. Now, if I go down here to tasks, active, up next, if I come back here, let's go to channels. Okay. So you give it a purpose, a name and a purpose. I'm going to say this, make design system, okay, webpage, the ultimate guide to using Claude Duet for business owners and entrepreneurs. Let's just see what that does. It knows itself better than I know itself. So it's working on this as I come over here. Um, it's interesting. I would say, so as I come down here, I'm going to come back over to Make. Still thinking this through. And let's just see. All right. For channels, I'd start with clients, amplifier, speaking, offers, products, content. Oh, while it's doing that, I'm going to come back over here to Make. All right, here we go. Not bad, not bad at all. So now let's see if it's running a task. Right. Interesting. So now it's showing me the task it's actively running on. So it's checking, it's building the ultimate page and check channel plan against your company brain. Cool. These are things that are not here yet, but I could say start at any time. And we're just going to come back here. Don't think it's done yet, but it may be done. It's still twirling. Chat is still over here. Okay, ready. Now this one, you see it says ready for review. So if I click on this, it's going to take me in this. I don't know if there's another, like it brought me in here. Okay, I'm building this and look on here. Not bad. Now, uh, we're going to see what this does. So my company brain is attached to this, which has all like, and that's on my local folders. It's in my Google Drive and it has all my templates. It's got all my guidelines. It's got all my connections. So it should know how to redesign this in a way that's brand relevant. And then it knows exactly where to put this on a subdomain, create an HTML page, put it live on my site. So we're going to see how long this takes to make. I'm going to X out of this. I'm going to come back over to here. All right, so this is in everything. Go back to chat. Just showing you how it looks. We're still talking about this. Still working on here. Now I got to check the channel plan. So I'm just going to say yes. So now what should happen is that these channels here should show up. It's working on both of those. I don't know what add to tab bar means here. It's interesting. Needs input. There we go. Okay. So technically these are all little departments, right? And then if I go into the ultimate guide, I might want to read how to use these channels, connect the apps, how to hand off work. I want to know more about channels. So I'm going to come over here. We'll mark it complete. I actually know what I'm going to do. Okay. Each channel has its own Claude with its own instructions, memory, files, and tasks. And it's more like a product than a sub-agent. And it follows its channel rules each time you take it there. Good. So set the rules for a channel, open it up, go to its settings, write the instructions, add context, add a rule. The main chat stays in your inbox. Should I write a draft for content channel? I don't know. Let's take a look at another one here. Let's take a look at, um, let's just say yes. All right. So what it should do is it should come back over here if I click on content. So if I click somewhere here, okay. Where are the channels instructions? Hold it down. Okay. There we go. I just had a heart. Long press it. Instructions goes in here. Now here in a moment, it should create all of that. I love it. Now come back on this make. Okay, look at this. It's doing pretty good. Come back to tasks. Up next, active. Ooh, everything's done. Is everything done? Let me go to everything. It is still working on this. Hahaha, very nice. Okay. So now I'll put it on your guides subdomain. Okay. So it's still, I think it's still working. Okay. So now what it's saying is it read my style guide in my content folder. Here's the draft. Help me plan my content, load my voice skill, choose a register, check content, how to write formats. Pretty good. I like it. See what happens. Content. Long press, instructions. They should be there in a moment. Okay, now let's look at this. Boom. Okay, so I'm going to send you guys this, um, this guide, and I hope you like it. If you need any other guidance, et cetera, whether it's setting up Company Brain, learning to use AI, learning to use Teams with Agents, uh, just come check out what I'm doing over here at acceleratedintelligence.ai or send me a direct message. Thanks a lot.
