Hey everybody, this is Brian Kaskavalciyan from The Wealthy Contractor and G4 Marketing Group. So I wanted to put this special message out there. I've got some notes, forgive me, I'm gonna read through the notes. For those of you that are regular podcast listeners, you see that we've been loading a lot of conversations that I've been having with people in the industry that I really trust. And the reason why it's important that I say that it's people that I trust is because I want to get good, honest information about what people are thinking, what people are feeling, and what people are doing. And that's, that's what I'm getting from, from this group of people that I am reaching out to. So, you know, first off, I hope that this message finds you safe and healthy and you haven't been health-wise impacted by what's, what's going on out there. I know there are a lot of businesses out there that are struggling right now, and so one of the things that I've been thinking about a lot lately, and I really believe this, and from, you know, what I'm seeing and what I've— what I'm hearing is we as business owners, we've really got to get through April. We've got to get through April. So you're gonna start to see from us a lot of this hashtag #SATA, and what SATA stands for is Stay Active Through April. That right now is the goal. Stay active through April. Don't shut down. Stay positive. Keep your head in the game. Use this time, and we're going to be providing resources as the days go on. We're talking, I mean, we're, we're putting out information in terms of, of days. What normally takes us weeks to put out, we're getting out in days. But aside from the podcast, aside from the webinars, We're gonna be putting out more information about some of the things that you could be doing right now as a business owner to help your business when, when we get turned back on, when the switch gets turned back on. So this is a good time to go back and look at what's working in your business, what wasn't working in your business. Get a real good grip on your numbers, and I'm gonna be doing something on numbers in the coming weeks. You could go back, there should be a lot of data that's available to you as a business owner, not just accounting data, financial data, but also data about lead generation, lead costs, sales efficiency. There's a lot of that, and we're going to be putting this information out. This is also a good time for all of us as business owners to study, to, to learn, to watch videos, to listen to podcasts, um, get some training. I know I've got some, some things in my office that are kind of waiting for me, um, as I'm dealing with clients on the one hand. I mean, we're still— look, my office is empty, um, everybody's working from home, but you know, we're here working. We haven't got a lockdown order. So, uh, me and Addie are here working in our office, um, but we're still working for our clients. All of our teams— the team is, is working for our clients, as I know a lot of you are. Um, but there will be more downtime than we all would like, so let's make sure that we use that time efficiently and profitably. The last thing that I want to leave you with, with this, with the whole SATA thing, okay, stay active through April. Look, you gotta make it through April. I'm pleading with you, do not give up today. This is not a time to give up. Make it through April. Figure out what you've got to do to get through April. All right, stay active through April. SATA, that is going to be our our charge forward, okay, over the next few weeks. Stay active through April. One of the things that I'd like is I'd like some help from you guys. So what you could do is you could bust out your iPhone like I've done here. I'm actually using a selfie stick. Don't laugh at me, but Addie gave me a selfie stick and I'm using a selfie stick to record this, all right? The video contents, or the quality of the video is not produced. It doesn't need to be, but what I'd like is for, um, some of you to share with us words of encouragement that we can post onto the Wealthy Contractor, uh, social media for everybody to go and look at and just get words of encouragement. So included with this video should be, um, wherever you're getting this video from, should be a link to the instructions on how to do this. Basically, it's very simple. Take out your iPhone and shoot a video of 1 minute or less and tell us what you're doing right now. I'll ask you the same things that I'm asking people on the podcast. What are you thinking? What are you feeling? And what are you doing? And we're looking for words of encouragement. How are you helping yourself get through this? And how are you going to help others? How are you preparing yourself for May when this is behind us? All right, it's not gonna be 100%, you know, it's not gonna magically all go away, but I'm telling you, from everything I'm seeing, from everything I'm hearing, I'm very, very optimistic and very positive that we need to get through April, and come May, we're gonna be able to start back up again, and hopefully sooner. So record a video, send it to us, and we will upload it.
