Are trinkets like the crap that people have on the tables that people come by and pick up and throw in their bag?
I tell everybody, like, the brochures, the pens, the— all of the stuff that you have on your table, it's just a cop-out. It's a reason for somebody to not set the appointment. Your phone number on your display is a reason for somebody to not set the appointment. A QR code— I know everybody wants to use a QR code. It's 2025. They think that that's efficient. In some ways it is. When it comes to having a booth set up that you're paying a lot of money to be there for, you need to set appointments. You don't need people scanning your QR code like they're doing with every other company at the show and maybe calling you later. You're giving away all of your control like that. And you're also missing out on the whole opportunity to set yourself apart by letting companies know who you are. And people really use these things as a cop-out for doing the hard work that actually drives the results.
