Do you have any advice to people that are not quite there yet, but they just don't maybe have the confidence yet in their ability to manage a team of people? What advice would you give to those people?
It's not about you. That's what I would say. And that's easier said than done. At the end of the day, when you go home, your mindset has to be, it's not about you. It's about them. And them is your leaders, your staff, your people, your labor, your relationships with suppliers, your relationships with your customers, and your word. What you tell people, deliver on it. And it's not about you.
