Stay curious and check your ego. Surround yourself with people smarter than you, hire consultants, attend industry events, and learn from experts outside your business. Every interaction becomes fuel for growth.
So the very first thing is check your ego at the door, right? You have to be a student of success. And I've kind of looked at it and said, I never want to be the smartest guy in the room, and I'm always a learning book. And even to today, I'm learning, right? Everything's a learning experience. I don't know everything there is to know about this business. I've learned a lot. And so what I did, or what we did, was we started to surround ourselves with people that were smarter than ourselves, and they weren't in our business. And what I mean by that is using consultants, going to people that knew more, learning from the top. So I would put myself myself in situations where I could bump up against those guys, ask those guys. So I would go to events, I would hire consultants,
