Building a 6 figure company on LinkedIn

Brian Lamanna shares how to build a six-figure business on LinkedIn. Start by engaging daily with others before you post anything. Write about your actual career journey, not generic advice, and batch your content so you're not scrambling every day.

I grew my LinkedIn following from 0 to 90,000 in just over two years and I didn't even have to use an engagement pod. Here's my best advice if you want to start hi, my name is Brian lamanna and I'm a six times Presence Club winner and a current enterprise AU over at Gong. Number one is before you begin posting, start engaging with others. So look for those that have similar content to you that you'll be sharing. Number two, dedicate say 30 minutes a day to this things like likes, thoughtful comments, direct messages. Those people will turn into your biggest support when you start. They just don't know it yet. Number three Start small posting. Be consistent. One post a week until it's easy. Then two times a week, then three times a week and max out at one times per day. Number four is go outbound to grow so connections do count towards your followers. Max out the hundred per week. Number five is create an idea bank of post ideas on a notes app, sticky pencil and paper. You'll start to think of ideas all the time. Write them down. Number six if you're posting multiple times a week, you will need a system. Write in bulk, carve out an hour every Sunday to write five posts, coffee and headphones and just keep pulling from that idea bank. Number seven get inspiration from other people's posts. If someone shares their favorite discovery question, you can write on that topic too. Topic copying is fine. Copying the content in it, not fine. Number eight Write about your own journey in your career. What's working for you, what's not. Lessons learned. That's the most authentic type of content no matter what stage you are in. Personally, someone in their career, I guarantee you, is a few steps behind and they would love to learn from you. I promise. The theme here in Number one through number eight is it's nothing that glorious. There's no AI agents, there's no outsourcing, there's no hacks, just the little things that add up.
