How Losing a Parent Shaped My Perspective

Brian LaManna lost his mother to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was four. He and the hosts share stories about how early parental loss shaped their outlook, resilience, and the way they present themselves to the world.
I think anyone listening if they knew how old you were, like, you are so wise beyond your years, and that shows up in everything you do. I'm curious how that experience kind of, like, shaped that or instilled that in you.
Yeah, it's a great question. I says background. When I was four years old, my mom got diagnosed really late stage, just was undetected with non Hodgkin's lymphoma, which typically is not actually deadly, especially if it's caught pretty early. Unfortunately was not detected early and was not able to battle through it. All those.
Yeah, yeah. Thank you for this. Dude, I think that story was hilarious. You were literally. It was like, May 10, and you're like, dude, if I die tomorrow, my LinkedIn is going to stay ripping to August. And I'm the kind of guy who's like, thinking about my post like, 35 seconds before posting it, and it's just, like, totally off the cuff. It's so cool to see the different strategies. I think yours will continue to age and scale better than mine, but we'll see. I'll just try to keep up. All right, so I want to ask a pretty deep question. You and I have something in common that not a lot of people do. We both lost a parent at a young age.
