Chewing your food has so many advantages. Chewing means that you are increasing your nutrient absorption, decreasing stress at your meal, which helps to also increase your digestive enzyme production. It can help to lower bloating, and you naturally eat less because your brain has more time to actually register what's happening and to register that you're full. So this means chewing your food throughout the entire meal. If you actually chew 40 bites of food, you'll notice that your food becomes completely liquid in your mouth before you swallow, and it'll feel uncomfortable if it's the complete opposite of how you usually eat, but this has been extremely beneficial for so many of our clients and is also supported by research.
