Hey, this is Jeff Busgaing from Harvard Business School and I'm super excited to tell you about launching Tech Ventures Taught in the fall of 2022. We have an amazing set of updates for the course. This is a course I've been teaching now for 12 years. You can see I've had just a range of fantastic students in the course, many of whom go on to start amazing companies, join amazing companies as joiners or become venture capitalists. And the course has six modules and I have them here on the board. It's a course all about experimentation and so the course focuses on startup experiments. First consumer value prop experiments, then go to market experiments and then profit formula or business model experiments, all in the journey of achieving product market fit. At the same time, we focus on a series of horizontal initiatives that all startups have to focus on, whether it's hiring, ethics and ecosystems or fundraising and exits. The course has a couple new exciting things to announce this year. First, we have two new cases that I'm in the middle of writing, both in the Web3 crypto space. One is on Solana, the layer one protocol that's seen great success. And the question of that case is going to be around platform and business development experiments and partnerships. And then secondly Superrare, which is an exciting marketplace for NFTs, which made the decision to switch over to a token based business model rather than a revenue based business model. And so we'll focus on that over the course of the case. Each of these cases, and we have 25 cases, are all pre product market fit startups and the struggles they have in scaling and executing on their business models. We have two amazing faculty joining me, so we'll have three sections in total. Professor Reza Satchu, this is his third year teaching the class. Reza is an experienced entrepreneur from Toronto where he started the YC of Toronto. And Lindsay Hyde, who's an experienced entrepreneur venture capitalist, taught the entrepreneurial failure class last year and is teaching in LTV for the first time. It's going to be a great semester, look forward to seeing you.
