The new high-speed train connecting Los Angeles to Las Vegas is already under construction. This is a train that travels almost 200 miles per hour, going to be completed before the 2028 Olympics that are going to happen in Los Angeles. It will have stops in Apple Valley and Hesperia. Each seat is going to include a recliner, power outlets, and Wi-Fi. There are going to be party cars on this train with mood lighting and even bars. Each ticket will cost about $400, and the trip will last a little under 2 hours. There be a new 80,000-foot station that will be built near Blue Diamond and the Strip in Las Vegas. And this whole project is going to cost about $10 billion. Much of it is funded by the bipartisan infrastructure bill. It will create 35,000 jobs during its construction. I can't wait for this new way to get to Las Vegas is complete because there's a lot of people that just don't want to fly planes or take old boring slow trains.
