Chart House inside Golden Nugget is where fine dining meets underwater magic in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. A glowing 75,000-gallon aquarium surrounds the dining room filled with colorful tropical fish that made my meal feel like a deep sea adventure. Since opening in 2009, Chart House has been part of the same family of restaurants, which includes Mastro's Ocean Club, Landry's Seafood House, Joe's Crab Shack, and Bubba Gump Shrimp. They're basically the king of seafood in Las Vegas, and Chart House may be the crown. I ordered my favorite fish, salmon, which was nicely cooked and placed over a bed of orzo and veggies. Others at my table ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and the ahi tuna. Nothing but rave reviews all around. Chart House is also known for their weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, and I have to admit that having a drink while watching a school of fish in a tank and a swarm of tourists in a casino sounds enjoyable. Too bad I don't have time for that as a busy real estate investor, but I'll gladly meet you at Chart House to chop it up. So schedule a call on my calendar using my link in bio, and please follow me for more Las Vegas dining adventures and hidden gems.
