This isn't my usual real estate breakdown, but in a way it actually is. You see, I've had a lifelong goal of owning and operating a beachfront resort, and Boracay felt like stepping into a live masterclass. This 4-mile island in the Philippines is home to White Beach, consistently ranked among the best beaches in the world, with sand so fine it feels like flour and water that looks digitally enhanced. But what fascinated me wasn't just the scenery, it was the experience design. At night, I walked the beach watching honeymooners taking photos, families on vacation, vendors selling glowing toys, and a drumline of teenage percussionists marching up and down the sand, creating this contagious energy. The beach wasn't just beautiful, it was activated. I went scuba diving twice, and the coral reefs are lively but Swimming alongside a sea turtle for an extended stretch was unforgettable. That's the kind of memory that guests travel across the world for. Mornings were just as powerful. Breakfast facing palm trees and an immaculate blue ocean. Simple, peaceful, perfect. I studied the resorts lining the shore. They all had unique features such as waterfalls cascading into pools, live fire performances, and colorful beach clubs pulling in foot traffic straight from the sand. It was hospitality psychology in action. Between intricate sandcastles and fireworks in the distance, Boracay wasn't just a vacation for me, it was research. Please follow my journey because one day I won't just be visiting a beachfront resort, I'll be operating one.
