Haters gonna hate. So my last video about Burning Man went viral with over 3 million views, which is cool and I'm grateful, but the comments were drenched with haterade. It seems people who've never been to Burning Man have many misconceptions about it, primarily that it's all about drugs and sex. Well, you know what, you surely can find those things at Burning Man, but Burning Man is so much more. Take a bike ride with your family across the desert playground filled with art, music, and magic. Yes, Burning Man is an all-ages event. Build and drive an art car. Design it, build it, and get it approved to drive in the dust by the Department of Mutant Vehicles. And in my humble opinion, there are already enough dragons, so please pick something else. Climb on a giant art installation. You're free to touch, climb, and interact with almost everything here. Both the risk and reward are all yours. Contemplate life at the trash fence. It's quiet, it's peaceful, and oddly spiritual. A place to think about reality while you watch a hot air balloon from afar. Perform aerial acrobatics. If you have the skills like many of my friends do, then bring your gear and share your talent. Look out and see parties for miles in every direction. It's overwhelming, but in a good way. Dance in the mud. When it rains, the alkaline dust ground becomes like wet cement, so don't walk unless you absolutely have to, and definitely don't drive. Just dance.
