I'm excited to share some big updates happening at my Airbnb in Eugene, Oregon. I've owned this house since 2007, and for the past just 2 years, I've been running it as a short-term rental. It's been an amazing journey, but I knew I could do more to make it a truly exceptional experience for my guests. What used to be an unfinished space with just a pool table and a foosball table is now being transformed into a fully finished recreation room and a brand new bedroom. We're adding some really cool features like a vaulted ceiling above the pool table, a storage loft above the new bedroom, and and even a rock climbing wall for a bit of adventure. Plus, there's going to be a secret bookshelf door. And to top it all off, we're replacing the old garage door with a permanent wall and a new window. This will make the space feel more like a permanent part of the house and less like a garage. Stay tuned for more updates, and if you're ever in Eugene, be sure to check out my Airbnb.
