The approval has finally been made for a new development in the long empty dirt lot that used to be the site of the Wet 'n Wild water park. I remember going there when I was a little kid, but this is the space between the Sahara and the Fontainebleau, and soon it will be the tallest resort in the city, and it will have 2,500 rooms. It's going to be the first 7-star resort. That means ultra luxury. It will also include an NBA-ready arena with up to 20,000 seats in it. It's of course going to have a casino, a convention center, retail plaza, and many restaurants featuring local chefs. And they're even going to include AI technology to make personalized experiences for guests. So can't wait until that finally pops up on my side of the Strip, the north side.
