Think the Las Vegas Strip is wild? Fremont Street is its louder, weirder, older sibling, and it's got stories. Located in downtown Las Vegas, this 5-block pedestrian mall is home to some of the city's oldest casinos like the Golden Nugget and Binion's, dating back to the 1940s and '50s. But in 1995, the area got a massive glow up with Viva Vision, the world's largest LED canopy which stretches 1,375 feet long and lights up the night with overhead music and light shows. Fremont Street Experience is entirely free to enter, and the fun never ends. Every day of the year, you'll find street performers, pop-up art, vintage neon signs, and classic Vegas vibes you won't find on the Strip. At night, it transforms into a full-blown block party with live bands, variety acts, and zipliners soaring overhead. I own and operate an apartment building just 3 blocks away, and I love that I can walk down Fremont Street anytime, day or night, for the best people watching on Earth. Sometimes if I can't sleep, I'll pop in my earbuds and walk through the revelrous crowds while listening to audiobooks about real estate. But that's just me. The point is, it's always a good time to visit Fremont Street Experience. It's chaotic, colorful, and undeniably entertaining. Follow me for more forays into this neon jungle we call Las Vegas.
