If you're craving authentic Italian food with a view, you've got to check out Luna Rossa at The Village in Lake Las Vegas. Serving up homemade Italian goodness since 2010, this spot is owned by the Molli family who brought their recipes straight from Italy. They've got another location in Tustin, California, but the Lake Las Vegas one steals the show with its romantic lakeside views. We went all in, starting with the baked lasagna piled high with cheese and sauce that tastes like it's simmered all day long. Then came the gnocchi in creamy tomato sauce with pure melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Of course, I had the pepperoni pizza, which was as good as it gets. And to give my arteries a break, I had the salmon salad, but then I said yes to adding a pile of Parmesan cheese, so maybe not so healthy after all. Oh well. Inside, it's cozy and elegant with white tablecloth charm, and outside, it's picturesque, like it's a scene from a movie. Luna Rossa is open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, And trust me, this hidden gem is worth the drive out to Lake Las Vegas. Follow for more Vegas dining adventures piled high with cheese.
