Lately I've been setting up a lot of midterm rentals at an apartment building that I'm a general partner on, and there are a few things that you may not realize are still needed in a midterm rental, such as a mattress encasement. These are very much a necessity at any rental in my opinion because they keep the mattress from getting stained by providing a waterproof barrier. You also are going to want an accent lighting of some sort in your midterm rental. I like to put colored lights above the cabinets because it's a small space and that really gives it a nice comfy and fun feel. I also like to add coat hook art. This is a coat rack that mounts to the wall and has a really artistic look to it, and that saves space and adds more art to the wall. And finally, think about including a toaster oven slash air fryer in your midterm rental because I don't have ovens, so now I do with the air fryer.
