Did you know that Big Chicken in Las Vegas is Shaquille O'Neal's slam dunk into the world of crispy comfort food? The first location opened in 2018 on Paradise Road, not far from the Strip, and now there's a second spot on West Tropicana Avenue with more on the way. The menu's full of personality with chicken sandwiches named after Shaq and his friends, like the Shaq Attack with pepper jack and jalapeño slaw, or the Charles Barkley stacked with mac and cheese and crispy onion, rounded out with sweet potato fries, Lucille's mac and cheese, and a cookie that could double as a frisbee. Inside, the vibe is bright, bold, and playful. I love the modern decor and larger-than-life Shaq visuals, but what really blew my mind is the foosball table they have in the restaurant. Very cool. Two other unique features are a full-size bar with all the liquors you would expect and a draft soda machine with all the flavors you would never expect. The creativity in here is refreshing when compared to any other fried chicken joint. Nice move, Shaq. Follow for more Las Vegas unique eats.
