In this short instructional video, the host shares practical towel‑selection tips for Airbnb properties. The speaker advises against using white towels because makeup stains are hard to remove, even with bleach, and recommends colored towels so guests can easily identify their own. Gray washcloths are suggested for makeup removal because they hide stains better, and they should be kept in small baskets for convenience. Finally, the speaker stresses the importance of choosing thin, quick‑drying cotton towels over thick ones to speed up laundry turnover and keep the property ready for new guests.

Today's Airbnb topic is all about towels. A couple quick tips for you. I have learned that it is not good to use white towels. They will get stained by makeup and you'll have a hard time removing that makeup stain, uh, even with bleach. So get colored towels. Another good reason to get colored towels is that they are easy for the guests to know which towel is theirs. If you have multiple colors in the house and everybody has their towels in the bathroom, then people can know this is my towel and not this one. Otherwise, they might get them confused and end up using too many towels. Another tip: use gray washcloths in the bathrooms. I like to put them in little baskets. It's a nice way for people to be able to wash the makeup off their face, and gray shows less stains. And final tip is make sure that your towels are quick to dry. It's better to have thin cotton towels than thick ones, but make sure that they are easy and quick to dry so you can get through the laundry fast.
