Caryn Meininger describes a paralyzing fear before a flight and how writing down her intentions helped her through it. She has almost no memory of childhood, which she traces to generational trauma: her father was verbally abusive, her mother didn't protect her, and now she's working to heal those wounds.

I'm going on the plane, and as I'm going on the plane, I'm starting to fear that I'm going to die. And it was really intense. And so what I started doing is just started writing down all of my intentions that I really wanted out of this. I don't remember my childhood at all. So I wanted to heal my generational traumas with my parents and their parents. There's a lot there.
