If you are someone that always really struggles to sell yourself in an interview, it's okay. We've never been taught how to really do it, but I'm going to show you now. First thing is, is that you're not getting objective with what you can bring to that role. First and foremost, they've invited you in for an interview, so they see the potential in you being able to do the job. Tick. Second tick, get out the job description, put it against your resume, and objectively go and match what they're looking for against your resume. Look at all of that and go, okay, I match this percentile of what this job is asking for. And if it's anything over 50%, you can do the job. Then what you're going to do is go to the job ad, look at the must-haves, pick the top 3 that you align with. And again, be objective. Go, okay, what are the top 3 things they're looking for and how do I align with those? That is giving you hardcore evidence that you are capable of delivering on this job. Get that in your head before you do your interview prep, before you get your technique on fire, and go in that interview room and demonstrate to them how you are the obvious choice for this job.
