Okay, but how do interviews make you feel? You can have the perfect interview answers. You can have all your structures and frameworks in place. But if you rock up to your interview anxiety-riddled, your nerves overtaking, then all of that prep goes to shit because you forget everything. This is a question I ask all of my clients. When you think about an interview, how does it make you feel? Why does it make you feel that way? How do you want to feel about interviews instead? What do you think you need to do to get to that point of feeling about interviews? Whether it's interview anxiety, whether it's interview nerves, whether it's your mind going blank, even if you've spent hours upon hours prepping the perfect answer. Until you get those things under control, your interviews are always going to deteriorate. Manage your interview mindset and the interview will flow. And the best way to start to work through that interview mindset is to identify what the pattern is. Think about consistent feedback you've been given. Ask yourself those prompts and see how it makes you feel, what comes up. Figure out how you're going to move through that, whether that's working with someone like me or doing it yourself. You need to get on top of it if you want to be the person that starts getting offers.
