Construction disputes don't actually happen suddenly. You can actually see them coming. You can feel them coming on a construction project. It's how your client demonstrates how they're going to approve things, how they're going to pay things over the whole contract. So if you start off, or if you don't start off submitting your notices and your changes, then all of a sudden you do, and then you find out later down the line that they're really slow to approve, they don't like approving them, they challenge everything, and they don't pay you. Isn't it much better that if you found that out at the start, if you were more commercially savvy from the start of the project, and you found that out, and then at least you can think, well, every time they ask me to do additional work, they're going to dispute it. They're not going to pay me the full amount. I'm going to lose money. Find that out early, save yourself a lot of money. Talk about that in the Subcontractor's Edge in detail.
