Ep. 0: The "Why" Behind The Prosperous Woman Podcast (Coming July 1!)

Welcome to the Prosperous Woman Podcast. I'm Claire Sellers, a business mentor and coach who is absolutely obsessed with helping you create the business of your dreams and your most prosperous life. Tune in for inspiring conversations with extraordinary women that will propel you towards becoming a prosperous woman. Okay, so here we are on my very first solo episode of The Prosperous Woman. Honestly, like being here and recording this, it feels like an absolute dream come true. And I just wanted to kick us off by kind of exploring the concept of prosperity and why I'm here and how I came up with the name for this show, because Let me tell you, I had so many ideas and it's such a relatable process. As a woman who has a business, one of the things that happens is that we come up with an idea and then we go all around the block thinking of all these different names. And I just landed on this name and something within my heart just said, "This is right. This is it. This is what we're going for." And I'm gonna do another episode where I go really more deeply into my story about me, why I'm here. But for today, I'll just leave it at, I'm a business mentor, I'm a coach. I am literally obsessed with helping you create the business and life of your dreams. And I've had a long and winding road to get here. And it's just such a gift to have this new platform where I'm able to share on a deeper level, on a longer level about the work that I'm doing in the world, about my incredible clients, and about so many of the inspiring women who have been a part of my journey over the years. Because let me tell you, when they say it takes a village, it takes a village. So when I think about the concept of prosperity, and you'll notice throughout the show that I ask every single guest, what does prosperity mean to you? "Prosperity" mean to them? And it's completely different. One of my guests said, "Prosperity is being able to put my feet in the grass every morning." And what is so fascinating is that not one person has said prosperity equals money. And it's so core to my mission that purpose always follows prosperity. Mm-hmm. Prosperity. So your purpose always goes first. And when I started out as a coach, you know, I was really working on purpose and helping women clarify their purpose. And what became so clear to me is that if your purpose is not clear, if you're not living in alignment with your purpose, financial abundance— Money. Will be an uphill battle. And for me, prosperity really comes down to 3 core tenets. And that's what I really want to talk about today in this first episode as we kind of get things kicked off is what does prosperity mean to me? Because prosperity is not money to me. Prosperity in my mind is a combination of 3 things. Mm-hmm. And the first thing is something that I talk a lot about, and it's life force. And life force is hard to explain, but it's essentially that energy. It's that flow. It's that feeling of you being in tune with the universe, whatever you wanna call it. It's you being a part of something that's bigger than you. Yeah. Right? And so life force is the vital force within all living things. And in order to tap into the current of prosperity, which we're gonna be exploring throughout this show through so many incredible stories with amazing women, you must be connected to your life force. And so one of my missions behind this show is to give you different pathways and tools to explore explore how you can either deepen or connect to your own life force, because I truly believe that this is mission critical in having a prosperous life and being a prosperous woman. So the second aspect of prosperity is magnetism. And I love the term magnetism. Some of you might remember, maybe you were even a part of a program that I ran a couple years ago called The Magnetic Woman, which was actually a dating course. And I believe in magnetism because magnetism is the thing that when a woman walks into the room, your head turns, you notice her. There's something about her that you're just like, "Shit, I don't know what she's got going on, but I want in on it." And that is so critical in the recipe of being a prosperous woman. Mm-hmm. And a lot of you might be hearing that and you know the woman I'm talking about, right? Maybe it's someone you admire on Instagram. Maybe it's someone you work with or a family member. Think about who that woman is and just connect to the energy that she has. Like when she walks into the room or when she's speaking, she has a certain magnetism to her, right? And that is one of the core elements of prosperity. And you might be asking, "Okay, you know, that sounds great. Well, how do I create it?" Well, that's another thing that I'm going to be exploring and delving very, very deeply into over the course of this show, through my own journey, through the journey of my clients, and also through extraordinary women who I've worked with and who've been a part of my journey over the years. The third tenet of Prosperity is purpose. And purpose to me is, I mean, purpose is my mission. You know, I'm a business coach, I'm a business mentor, but I will not help a woman build a business that is not purpose-aligned. I will not. It's not in my highest good and it certainly is not in hers. And so if you are not tapped into your purpose, You will very much struggle in terms of creating financial abundance. You will either burn out, you will end up miserable, you will end up with chronic disease, you will end up with illness, you will end up miserable, your relationships will break, you name it. Purpose is the thing that aligns us to the soul of our being and who we were put on this earth to be. And without purpose, in my mind, there's nothing. And so one of my missions behind this show is to help you connect more deeply to your purpose. And my belief in my heart of hearts, and I'm gonna get into this when I talk about my story, is that inside of every single woman is a business waiting to be born. Mm-hmm. And I believe that with my whole heart. I do not believe that women were put on this earth to build someone else's dream. And the sooner that you can connect to why you were put on this earth, because you came here with a unique mission that only you can fulfill, the sooner that you can connect with that, the more life force you will feel, the more magnetism you will feel, the more purpose you will be led and driven by, and the right people, places, and things will appear in your life, and all of a sudden it all makes sense. And so this is my mission behind this show, is to help you connect to who you truly are, why you're on this earth, and how you can be of highest service. Because from that place, not only are you the prosperous woman, but financial abundance is a natural and inevitable byproduct. Mm-hmm. It just is. I see it over and over and over again. And when I think about all of the women in my life who you're gonna be meeting over the course of this show who have just profoundly impacted my journey, and I'm so excited for you to just hear their journeys, you'll hear those three themes come again and again and again. Mm-hmm. Life force, magnetism, purpose. I get chills when I talk about it because I just believe it with my whole heart. And so it's my mission in this lifetime to help women tune in and tap into those 3 key areas. And that is what the Prosperous Woman is. And it's not about doing, it's about being. It's about being the prosperous woman and igniting that version of you so that you aren't looking at the woman in the room who's turning heads, but you become her. And so I hope that over the course of this show, you find massive amounts of inspiration. I hope that you find new tools, new resources, new pathways that ignite something in you and help you uncover the prosperous woman within you. Because it's also my belief that the more women we have operating in this frequency of prosperity— Prosperity. The more incredible, epic, vibrant, abundant, love-filled universe we will be living in. Because my mission is bigger than me. Your mission is bigger than you. And I hope that I also can show you that through this podcast, through not only my story, but also the story with all of the amazing women that I'm gonna be sharing. Mm-hmm.
