I'm practicing doing shorter mini episodes so that you can just have a little bite. I love when you guys DM me, I listened to your podcast while I was on my walk. It makes me so happy. I had this flashback the other day to a moment that really changed everything for me and my business. So I'm gonna paint the picture. It was 2018. I had left my startup in New York City. I had done a year-long life-changing Eat, Pray, Love journey around the world. It was absolutely incredible. I've done episodes on that journey, but in case you're new here, you know, I lived at an ashram in India. I had an incredibly profound experience with a healer in Bali named Ibu Jero. I volunteer career coached in Bali as well and met a young boy named Andre and helped him get a job that completely shape-shifted the life of him and his family. I fell in love when I was in Spain. I mean, just a truly, truly profound experience. And I found myself after over 12 months of living out of suitcases, moving almost every month, getting my business up and going, you know, I probably had 5 or 6 clients during that time. I found myself at my last stop. Well, I just decided it was my last stop cuz I was tired of moving around, but that was Mexico City. And in a Facebook group, this is a little bit of a tangent, but you guys are walking while you listen, so it's fine. I post when I would travel, you know, if I was alone, I would post in Facebook groups for females in whatever city. So I was in Medellín, Colombia at the time, and I posted in a Facebook group, hey, you know, I'm traveling here. Does anyone wanna meet up? You know, here's a little bit about me. And I met an amazing woman named Jessica who is a such an amazing person, such a close friend of mine. And her sister actually joined the Dream Accelerator and started an amazing business called Mini Me Movement. Shout out to Kylie and Jessica. Kylie is the founder of Mini Me Movement. Mm-hmm. And I remembered— this is how the universe works. I remembered when I was in Colombia, Jessica saying, oh yeah, I was in Mexico City and I, you know, made friends with this girl Asia who lives in Mexico City. I don't know why I remembered that. I have kind of one of those like very freaky, weird, selective memories. 4 months later, fast forward, I'm in Mexico City and I'm like, I know no one here. I need to find someone to hang out with and help me get the ropes here. So I texted Jessica. I'm like, does that girl Asia— Yeah. Still live in Mexico City. Yes. Next thing I know, I'm sitting with Asia at this gorgeous restaurant in Mexico City in Roma Norte called Blanco Colima, if anyone's ever been. And I'm like, I think I just found my best friend. So I ended up moving into, of course, as, as luck would have it, a bedroom opened up in a gorgeous, gorgeous, one of the oldest homes in Roma Norte. And I moved in. And Asia also is an incredible coach and we decided, okay, we are going to like go all in on our businesses. So we both got coaches to help us. And I remember before I hired this coach, I was sitting in my office, which literally was a dresser, only the top 2 drawers worked. The bottom 2 drawers would always come off track and it drove me nuts. And a plastic stool that actually didn't even belong in the bedroom. I just like saw it in one of the guest rooms. It was a huge house, one of the guest rooms, and I just like borrowed it and I was like, okay, this is my desk now. I had all my Post-its laid out. I literally was working on my dresser for like the first full year, 2 years of my business. And I remember I had just come off of a client call. I go to check Instagram and I saw this woman and I felt this instant connection to her. She was a mom, she was an adored wife. She lived in a beautiful house on a lake and she looked like she ran a business that actually supported her life. She Homeschooled her daughter. They baked cookies in the afternoon. This is something like I've always dreamed of having time to do with my daughter. And you know, they went on family walks midday and she had one group program. And I saw like in her stories, it was 20 women in this group program. And I'm like, that is amazing. There's only one way to work with her. It serves a lot of women and it just looked like the most peaceful, aligned, abundant life. And I was like, I want that, and I wanted it so badly. And so I nervously booked a sales call with her, and a week later Amber pops on Zoom and she asked me, what's your dream? That was it. There was no pressure. There was no pitch. Just that one question. And you guys, I can't explain it, but no one had ever asked me that before. And— And at the same time, it was like I'd been dying for someone to ask me. And I just started sobbing so hard I could barely speak because the dream was massive. It felt so big and it felt so far, but it also felt so ancient. And it also felt like something I was pregnant with and I was supposed to be birthing it, but I'd been pushing and forcing and contorting myself to like look professional and do these types of photos and write content like this. for so long and like I felt like nothing was progressing. I had a solid one-on-one, but I was getting burned out of doing all the calls and I felt like I wasn't really getting new clients easily. And the truth was I was getting exhausted from trying to do it all, doing the marketing. I was trying to build new group offers. I had no clue how to launch. I'm like, should I run ads? I was buying self-paced digital courses, trying to like duct tape some type of sense together. I was posting on social media like crazy cuz I heard if you posted 3 times a day, that was better. And I was doing free events, both live and online. I was offering discounts. I was doing all the things I could think of to create a business that actually felt like a legit business and felt easy. And the part that felt the hardest, and I think that this is why I started crying when she asked me this question, is I honestly didn't know what else I could be doing. And I thought the answer was more, more content, more offers, more events, more networking, more DMs, more free masterclasses, more photo shoots, more emails, more followers. More likes. I thought that that's what it was, but for some reason, when she asked me that question, it was like just so obvious and so insanely simple. Something clicked inside of me because I realized that my dream was so simple. All I wanted was to help women, to do work that truly lit my soul on fire, and to have freedom of time, money, and location. That was it. And here I was rounding in like crazy online courses and talking to ads managers and posting all this crazy shit on Instagram and sending these ick DMs trying to get people to buy one-off sessions from me. And when I told her the dream, I was like, wait a second, this is so simple. And I was making it so complicated. And for the first time I felt hope that a simple business and life was possible. Truly, it was like the Red Sea parted and I saw it and I was like, oh. My God, I have everything that I need. I just need the right strategy, container, leadership, and process to bring it all into fruition. And this is exactly what I felt so called to share with you all today, because I know that you feel it too. I know so many of you, you're holding so much, and I'm not just talking about in your business. So many of my clients are moms. I've got single moms. I've got women who have C-suite level jobs, doctors, lawyers, women who are cleaning homes, women who are doing sales for other coaches. You guys have entire other businesses and careers that you're holding, plus personal stuff, plus trying to take care of yourself, do all the wellness things, get your steps in. You're trying so hard in life and business, you're doing everything right, and you're wondering when and how will your business finally feel as easy and prosperous as it does in your soul, because I know that you can tap into the simplicity and the pureness of your vision too. And you're exhausted because you're posting constantly. You're praying that someone sees you, and you're tired of pouring your heart into programs that don't fill. You're tired of the revenue rollercoaster months that just don't reflect your level of depth and brilliance. And you know that you want higher income, you want— Mm-hmm. Deeper, wider impact, and you wanna lead at the level, you know, that you were born for. Bottom line, you want a purpose-led business that actually supports your life instead of draining it. And here's the truth that your brain keeps resisting because it just doesn't feel familiar yet. You do not need to do more. You need to do less. And I know that sounds crazy because I didn't believe it at first either. But hear me out. It's offer less, but go deeper. 1 to 3 core offers. Do less, but do it with intention and strategy. One launch strategy that you rinse and repeat that creates the conversion that you want. Simplifying the backend of your business so that you can actually scale. Building a business that feels wildly prosperous and deeply supportive and life-giving should be the simplest part of your entire life. Full stop. I am living proof, and so are my clients. And this is exactly where I'm taking you inside the Simple AF Biz Summit.
