Ep. 29: Cultivating Joyful Consistency in Your Business
26 May 2025 · 13 min
In this solo mini‑episode of the Prosperous Woman Podcast, Claire Sellers addresses the common challenge entrepreneurs face: maintaining consistent, inspired action. She outlines five concrete systems that have helped her scale her solo business while feeling good. The first is the “Sacred Six,” a set of tiny daily habits (e.g., lemon water, meditation, walks, connection) that create a foundation of wellbeing. The second is a structured work schedule that mimics a 9‑to‑5 routine, complete with set start times, focused morning service‑and‑creation blocks, limited client call days, and a defined end‑of‑day. The third strategy adds a daily theme (client days, CEO/admin day, rest/overflow day) so every activity slots into a purpose‑driven slot. The fourth is a weekly self‑meeting where Claire writes a weekly to‑do list, creates calendar invites aligned with her schedule and themes, and starts each week with a clear roadmap, reducing overwhelm and increasing momentum. The fifth is building in small, enjoyable rewards (walks, coffee, TV) after completing tasks to boost intrinsic motivation. Claire urges listeners to adopt at least two of these practices for 21‑30 days, promising major shifts in results and feeling. She also promotes her high‑ticket Opulence Mastermind for six‑figure women ready to scale with soul, and offers a free Prosperity Activation course to anyone who leaves a 5‑star review and screenshots it. The episode ends with a call to DM her, subscribe, and share feedback.

And not only that, you're gonna feel good. Welcome to the Prosperous Woman Podcast. I'm Claire Sellers, a business mentor and coach who is absolutely obsessed with helping you create the business of your dreams and your most prosperous life. Tune in for inspiring conversations with extraordinary women that will propel you towards becoming a prosperous woman. Welcome, welcome to this solo mini episode. I am so excited to drop in with you guys on one of the things that I hear you needing support with most. Consistency. We start seeing results in our business when, yes, we start taking inspired action, but the biggest thing with inspired action is it has to be consistent inspired action over time. Okay? And when we are working on our own in our businesses, it can be very easy to create consistency and to uphold our structure and boundaries that we put in place for ourselves. So I have created 5 ways that you can create consistency in your business now, and I'm so excited to share these with you. I personally do all of these, and they have truly unlocked a new level of success and expansion within me, not only in my business but also in my life. Because as you all know, one of my core beliefs is how we do one thing is how we do everything. And You know, your business is actually such an incredible launchpad for you to start doing things differently. So I hope that you'll pick at least one or two of the tools that I'm about to share with you and start implementing them now, seeing how it feels and giving yourself at least 30 days with this so that you can actually start seeing results, which will then create the message and the neural pathway in your brain and in your nervous system that it actually feels good to do the things I say I'm going to do. Consistently. Okay, so let's break it down. Number 1 is the Sacred Six. Now I have a whole episode on this, so if you didn't listen to that yet, please go back and listen. In a nutshell, the Sacred Six is like the first thing I teach foundationally in all of my containers. It's very simple. It is what are the 6 things that you do every day that make you feel good. And we keep these super, super small. Okay. Okay. So some of mine are lemon water in the morning, meditation, going on several walks a day, um, connection. I love to connect with my friends and family. Um, these are all some of the things that I do every day that make me feel grounded, that create a sense of stability, and that allow me to serve and create from a place of overflow and not collapse or lack or anything like that. Okay, so there's a whole episode that breaks down the Sacred Six, so go back and check that out if you haven't listened to it yet. Okay. Number 2, I think is really important and easy to overlook, and that is set your schedule. Even though you have your own business, you probably work from home and you no longer have a boss or someone, you know, checking on you to make sure you're coming to the office on time. Or maybe you do have that and you're doing your business on the side, even better. Even more reason to do this, set your work hours, okay? And follow the same schedule every day as if you are in a 9 to 5. So, for example, for me, I wake up usually with the sunrise, so I'm usually up around 6 or so, and it takes me about an hour or so to do my Sacred 6, and then I'm typically working by 8 or 8:30, and then I don't take calls until 10. Mm-hmm. So I'm doing the same business activities during those first 2 hours of the morning, which always, you know, the 2 things you should be focusing on in your business, especially as you start scaling, are being of service and creating. So those are the 2 things I'm doing in the morning when, like, my mind is most fresh and most sharp. Okay. And then I move into— sometimes I have client calls. I only do calls 1 to 3 days a week max. And then in the afternoon I go back to my two main priorities, which are being of service and creating. And then if I have any like administrative things that my team isn't handling, I will do that in the afternoon. I usually finish working no later than like 3, 4, and I always take like a 1 to 2 hour lunch break. So basically, you know, I'm working from 8 to 3, 4, and then I take like an hour or two break. Now, most of the time I have different fun things in my life that I want to do, and so I go do those. So for example, on a Thursday I might not work at all. Fridays I don't work very often, right? So you want to set a schedule so that you have something to fall back on and something to hold you in your business. This is so important. So setting a schedule as if you're in a 9 to 5 and really committing to following that. Okay. Now the second piece of this is giving each day a set theme. So I like to block out what each day is for. So Mondays are my group call days. Okay. So within the structure I just shared with you, I have themes for each day. So Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are client days. I only take client calls on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I don't always have client calls on those days. Usually I only have a handful of calls a week max, but those are the 3 days they're happening. Thursday is my CEO day. That's when I'm doing like admin stuff. I'm thinking of, you know, new, new strategies. I'm working on content. I'm moving the business forward. And then Friday is kind of my rest overflow chill day. So every day has a theme, and this way if someone says, oh, Claire, can you, you know, record a podcast? I'm like, yes, I could do that on Thursday or Friday. I just know where it plugs in. Right. Which brings me to my next step, which is the weekly meeting with yourself. And I actually learned this in a corporate training I was in, in my, in my corporate job. And having a meeting with yourself, I do mine on Friday afternoon, literally changes the game for the week ahead. So the way that I do this is I literally just, in a note in my phone, I write down all the things that I have to do the following week. And then I create calendar invites for each item based on the framework I've shared. So based on my daily schedule, my themes for each day. And so I wake up Monday morning, literally with a roadmap of exactly where I'm supposed to be, who I'm talking to, what I'm doing. So for example, something like, you know, taxes. I would literally put a calendar invite for 2 hours on Thursday afternoon for me to do that. Um, if I needed to speak with a trademark attorney, I would schedule that for a Thursday afternoon. If I wanted to do an Instagram Live, I would schedule that during my content creation hours, which are in the mornings or afternoons. Okay, so this gives you the structure and the roadmap so that you can really head into the week feeling confident that you know that you have a plan. And this avoids the overwhelm, the spinning, the doing business activities that actually don't move the needle forward. And it creates a pathway for you to start seeing results in your business. And this is what's going to actually create the momentum and the results that are going to make you want to do even more of that. And this is when you really start to see your business take off. Pardon the interruption. If you are a six-figure entrepreneur and you're ready to scale to multi-six figures with more ease, more clarity, and most importantly, more soul, I want to personally invite you to join the Opulence Mastermind. This is my signature highest level space for women who are done with burnout and they're ready to scale their business in a way that actually feels good. This will unlock consistent 10 to 50K months on repeat, all while working less. Yes. If this sounds too good to be true, it's not. My clients and I are living proof. So if you are ready to become the opulent woman, the one in your industry with a business that is magnetic, scalable, and soul aligned, pop on over to my bio and Instagram @itsclairesellers and click the Apply to Opulence button in my links, or we are linking it in the show notes. There are only a few spaces left, and I think your name might be on one of them. Now the fifth step is one of my favorites, which is create rewards. So I'm rewarding myself all day, every day. After I do my morning activities and my client calls, I will go take a walk, call my best friend, and get an iced coffee. That's like my reward. I will finish something I really don't wanna do, and then I'll eat lunch and watch 90 Day Fiancé. Okay. So I like set up little rewards for myself that motivate me to do the things that sometimes I don't wanna do, because that's just the reality. And it makes it more fun and it creates a sense of levity and play inside of my business, which again creates more intrinsic motivation for me to continue to do more. So these are the 5 things that have created insane consistency in my business and have allowed me to scale it to what it is today. I hope that this is helpful. And again, as I said in the beginning of the episode, I would super encourage you to pick at least 2 of these to try for the next, at least 21 days. Let's go for a month.
