If you want to become the best version of yourself, one of the most important things you need to evaluate is the role that vices play in your life. A vice is anything you repeatedly use for short-term comfort and quietly pulls you away from your long-term growth. The problem with vices is not just the act itself. The real problem is what they train you to do. They train you to escape instead of confront, numb instead of feel, and avoid instead of act. When you're trying to To build confidence, improve your social skills, and become stronger with women, those patterns matter. To get better socially and romantically, you need clarity, energy, discipline, and emotional control. Vices slowly chip away at those things. Smoking weed is one of the easiest ways to get comfortable with being passive, and I get it, it's not that hard of a drug. For some men, weed becomes a reward. For others, it becomes a coping mechanism. For many, it becomes a habit they no longer even question. The issue with it is that it often reduces urgency, motivation, emotional sharpness, and social boldness. It can make you feel relaxed in the moment, yet it can also make you feel more accepting of a life that is below your potential. And if you're trying to become more confident, more social, and more proactive, that is a problem. When it comes to alcohol, it is dangerous in a different way because it is often socially normalized. A lot of men use drinking to loosen up, feel more confident, escape stress, avoid dealing with deeper issues. And while alcohol can temporarily lower inhibition, It does not build real confidence; it only borrows it. That means if you rely on drinking to feel bold, social, or expressive, then you're not actually developing those qualities; you're outsourcing them. Real confidence is something you carry sober. Also, drinking leads to worse decisions, less discipline, more emotional instability, and weaker routines. Alright, moving on to porn. Porn is one of the most destructive vices because it rewires your relationship with pleasure, discipline, and women. It trains your brain to seek stimulation, without effort, consume without connection, and over time, it can weaken drive, focus, emotional presence, and your erection. Porn gives you the illusion of satisfaction without requiring growth. That's what makes it dangerous. For many men, porn also creates guilt, shame, lower confidence, distorted standards, less motivation to take action in real life. If you're serious about becoming stronger with women, more socially confident, and more powerful in your life, if you want to reduce or eliminate vices, you need replacement behaviors. You cannot just remove the bad habit. You need to fill the gap with something stronger. That includes training your body, improving your sleep, eating better, getting outside, being around better people, taking more action, building purpose into your days. When your life has momentum, vices lose some of their power. When your life feels empty, they become much more tempting. That is why becoming the best version of yourself is not only one giant decision. It is about building a lifestyle that supports strength. The question is not, can I get away with this vice? The better question to ask, does this habit align with the man that I'm trying to become? That is the standard. Because if your habits do not match your goals, your goals will always lose. For the next 7 days, I want you to do 3 things. 1, identify your main vice. Be honest. Which one is costing you the most right now? 2, identify the trigger of what is causing you to get into the habit. And 3, replace the pattern with something healthy and productive. The goal is not perfection. The goal is awareness, interruption, and replacement. If you want a better life, you need better habits. If you want stronger confidence, stronger discipline, and stronger results with women, you have to become a stronger man privately first. Because the things you do when nobody is watching shape the man you become when it matters. That's all I have for this lesson. See you guys in the next video.
