John Cordero demonstrates a cold approach with a simple compliment: "I just saw you from over there and I just thought you were kind of cute." He introduces himself and asks for her name. The point is to keep it straightforward and not overthink it.

Hey, excuse me.
Hey, what's up?
I just saw you from over there and I just thought you were kind of cute.
Oh, thank you.
I'm Ethan, by the way. What's your name?
My name is—
Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too.
Guys, don't make this harder than it already is. All I did was tell her that she's cute and that I saw her from over there. You can say the exact same thing to start off your conversations. I'm going to continue to break down this interaction, so follow me for more.
