conversation flow

John Cordero breaks down day-game conversation structure: show intent early, ask open questions, tease at least twice, and aim for 5-10 minutes of talk. Repeat your romantic interest two or three times throughout, then seed a specific date idea (like a coffee shop with a patio) before asking for her number.

Hey, what's up guys? Today I'm going to be talking about the conversational flow and why it's so important to kind of put these pieces together. So lately we've been talking about personal input, asking questions, making observations, eye contact, smiling. It's a lot, right? But at the same time, they're simple steps that you can get better over time, and they'll become second habit to you to that where you can apply it to the conversation. So I just want to give you a basis of guideline of what to do, and I don't want it to be super strict because it doesn't have to fall in certain order every time, but it tends to work out well. So like in day game, it's good to display intent as soon as you can because it just tells the woman why you're there and why you're talking to her to begin with, especially during the day. It makes it a lot easier. But other than that, it's just good to get a good flow in and just kind of help you along the way. So displaying intent early, asking open-ended questions, getting a little bit of observations in. Giving your personal input, smiling, all those things are good to apply in real time and just kind of get it going. Ideally, you want to have the conversation go anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to get a good number, because if you just run an interaction for a minute or 2, it's not a good enough sample size to really get her engaged. And she still doesn't really get to know you. You don't really get to know her for that to really work out. So try to go for a longer time and it'll just work out better. To really reduce the flaky numbers, which is what I don't want for you. Okay, so that's super helpful. Most of the time, the typical guy will go up to her. Hey, I think you're pretty. Can I get your number? And that's it. And at that point, all she has to go off is your looks. You know I'm saying? That can fade over time, even if you are like a super Chad looking dude. So it's good to keep that in mind. As a guideline, you want to display intent about two or three times or so. Again, just you want it in the beginning. Maybe somewhere in the middle, somewhere at the end, and to really get her to know that you're interested in her. And that way it's not just this friendly thing and she's not surprised when you ask for the number at the end of the conversation. That is the biggest goal there. And then 2, you want to tease her. Don't forget to tease her, please. You know what I'm saying? So interject that in, you know, whenever you can. Again, I don't want to give you guys feel like you have to have a set number for this stuff, but it's just good to do it within the conversation 2 times or more at the bare minimum. Okay. And then after that, you know, you want to ask and seed the date. This is a little bit more advanced, but it helps. Okay. So basically you mentioned, hey, I know this good coffee shop and you just jazz it up. It has a really nice patio and it's really, really private. It's really awesome, but it has a really, really good view. It's like, we should grab some coffee sometime. That's seeding the date. I mentioned something, I hyped it up, and then I made a suggestion. It's like, oh yeah, that's cool. And then if she agrees to that or if she's feeling it or whatever, it doesn't really matter at that point. It makes even more sense. To just take out your phone and be like, hey, look, it's like, just put your number in, we'll go grab some coffee sometime. Don't make me regret it. All right. So again, see, teasing, but it's just good to do that because it gives you a reason to get her number all the more. And it just kind of makes it more solid.
