conversational flow

A framework for daygame conversations that weaves together observations, questions, teasing, and intent throughout the interaction. Showing intent multiple times and stretching conversations to 10-15 minutes dramatically cuts flaking rates. End by seeding a specific date idea based on her interests before asking for her number.

Today we're going to be talking about conversational flow, which is basically the overview of how to hold a conversation. First, I want to say that there's no perfect way to exactly hold a conversation, but I want to talk about the different components that you need to have in the conversation to get the best results. The order of the conversational flow doesn't always need to be a certain way. The main important thing is that you have the components sprinkled in throughout the conversation. So the different components would be giving personal input, making observations, asking questions, teasing, smiling, and giving out good vibes. Another component to add in is displaying intent. Generally in daygame, you want to display intent early on and sprinkle it in periodically throughout the conversation. Again, nothing is set in stone, but for example, if you're having a conversation with a woman for 10 minutes and you displayed intent about 3 times or more, that would be good as far as displaying intent is concerned. What you don't want to do is display intent in the beginning and then the conversation gets friendly and boring And you never display intent again. She might even be a little surprised when you ask for her number at the end of the conversation if you do it that way. You might ask how long should you be in the conversation before you ask for her number? My answer to you on that is the longer the interaction, the better. The concept of this is very simple because at the end of the conversation, it's good to ask for her number or Instagram. So if you're in a 10-minute conversation compared to a 5-minute conversation, how much more likely would she be to not flake on you with a 10-minute one? I would say the chances go up quite a bit. Every situation is different, but we are dealing with people. But it's not hard to understand that the more that you're talking to her, the more that you get to know her, and the more that she gets to know you, and is going to give you the best chances to get you a solid number. So for me personally, if I ever had a conversation with a woman for 15 minutes or more and I get her number, I never had that woman flake on me. That's just my personal experience, and I've done that multiple times. So hopefully that makes sense. Most guys make the mistake of going up to her and immediately asking her for her number, and it's just a lot that she has to process on her end. The only thing you're giving her to go off of at that point is just your looks, but attraction can fade over time, especially if she doesn't see you on a regular basis. So as a general rule of thumb, if you stay in the conversation for 10 minutes or more, that gives you the best results for the number close that isn't flaky. Another thing that you want to do at the very end is seeding the date. What that means is that you're setting up the date ahead of time. What that does is it gives her more reason to give you her phone number. One of the ways that you can do that is asking the question, what do you do for fun? If she gives you a good answer about something you can do as a potential date, you can bring that up by saying, we should go do blank sometime. Another thing you could do is just hype up a place that you know about and talk about a couple of reasons of why that place is awesome. For example, I can talk about a coffee shop I know down the street that has an amazing view and some of the best espressos I've ever had. Then you can ask her, do you like coffee? Most women do. Then you can say, we should grab some coffee sometime. And there you go. That is how you seed the date. After that, you can just ask for a number. I generally just take out my phone and just hand it to her and say, put your number in so we can grab some coffee. Just don't make me regret it. Something along those lines. The important part of the conversational flow that most guys mess up at the very end is when you guys are exchanging numbers. You have to keep the conversation going. Again, just add a component by making an observation about her style or making a personal input. And do not eject as soon as you get her number because it will seem like an exchange of some kind. Having a couple of minutes of talking after the number close can really seal the deal and get her excited about seeing you again. This is going to be a good lesson to go over and over, especially when you get done with the interaction, to see if you miss anything or to do more of something. That's all I have for this lesson. I will see you guys in the next video.
