Peter approaches two retail workers with a joke about jewelry, exchanges names with Sophia and Apple, mentions he's visiting San Diego from Chicago for a week, and asks for their phone number. The demo breaks down a flirtation sequence: opener, names, background, shared interest, then the ask.
Excuse me, you guys sell jewelry here?
We do, yeah.
No, I'm just joking. I just thought you were cute.
Oh, thank you. That's good for you. What's your name? Sophia.
Sophia, Peter.
Nice to meet you, Peter. You guys both work here? Yeah. What's your name? Apple. Nice to meet you.
Yeah, I was just wondering if I could grab your number.
Sure, yeah.
Are you from here?
I'm from here. How about you?
I'm actually not. I'm visiting for like a week from Chicago.
Okay. Why are you in San Diego then?
My buddy lives here. We're actually waiting outside.
Um, you like coffee?
You like coffee?
I love coffee.
All right, I'll text you. All right, have a good one.
