How to number close

Getting a phone number works better after longer conversations and when you've already mentioned a specific plan like coffee. Hand over your phone confidently instead of asking hesitantly, then keep talking for another minute so it doesn't feel transactional.

Welcome back to another video. At some point in the interaction, you need to know how to move things forward. That is where the number close comes in. A number close is simply getting a phone number, and it could be an Instagram as well. Both can work. Yet the most important thing is understanding how to make a number close feel natural, confident, and solid. One of the most important things to understand is this: the longer and stronger the interaction is, The less flaky the number usually becomes. Because the more time she spends with you, the more comfortable she feels, the more she gets a read of who you are, and the more real the connection feels. If you get a number after a very short interaction, it can still work. Yet in general, shorter interactions tend to produce flaky numbers. Longer interactions tend to produce better results because the number feels attached to an actual experience that she had, not just a quick moment. The same principle also applies to Instagram exchanges. Instagram can work, especially because women feel less pressure exchanging it. But if you're going to use Instagram, make sure Your profile is set up well. That means it should look clean, it should reflect you well, it should help you, not hurt you. Because once she sees your profile, it becomes part of the impression left on her, good or bad. If your Instagram is weak, sloppy, empty, or confusing, it can lower her wanting to see you or talk to you. From my personal experience though, phone numbers tend to make date setting a lot easier. A number usually feels more direct, more intentional, and easier to work with When you are trying to move things forward to an actual date. So both can work. Phone numbers are often stronger if the interaction has gone well. Do not ask for her number in a weak or uncertain way. Avoid making it sound like you're hoping she says yes, you're seeking permission nervously, or you are apologizing for wanting to continue the interaction. The number close should feel confident and natural. The energy should be more like, we're continuing this, not, please let me keep talking to you. A stronger way to number close is simply hand your phone over And say something like, go put your number in so we can go do that sometime. Especially if earlier in the conversation you already planted the idea of doing something together, that makes the close feel smoother. For example, if earlier you said, we should grab coffee sometime, we should go get drinks sometime, we should check out that place sometime, then when it's time to close, the number exchange feels like the natural next step. It's not random, not forced, not weak, just a logical continuation of what you already set up. This is why seeding the date earlier in the interaction helps so much. If you bring up the idea of doing something together before the actual close, then the number becomes attached to a plan. Be sure to keep talking during and after the number exchange. This is another important point that a lot of men miss. Do not immediately end the interaction the second you get the number. If you get the number and then instantly leave, it can make the whole thing feel transactional, almost like the interaction was only about getting the number instead of vibing with her. A much better move is to keep talking a little bit after the number exchange. Which leaves a stronger final impression and gives you a little bit more time to build comfort and momentum. Another minute or 2 can make the difference. That small detail can strengthen how she remembers you afterwards. That's all I have for this lesson. See you guys in the next video.
