#1 Way to get recruited

A college coach explains the single best way to get recruited: send one email with a single link to all your materials, properly formatted and ad-free. Coaches ignore candidates who make them click around or watch vertical videos on Instagram. Comment "email" for a template.

This is the most important thing you will hear today about the recruiting process, and it comes directly from a high academic college coach. Listen to this, please. It is what makes me very good about helping my kids, and you guys should do the same thing.
Let me just say this, if nothing else, don't make it hard for us. Make it easy for us. Give it to us all in one thing. Assume that we don't want to do anything extra or don't have time to do anything extra. Actually, which is generally speaking true, we don't have time to do anything extra. We want coaches— we want players, excuse me, that make it easy for us to recruit them. So your email, your highlight, your— all this stuff should be in one place where we can always find it, right?
When he talks about extra, what he means is if they can't see you in the highlight video, you're wasting their time. If you post on Instagram horizontal, not vertical, you're wasting their time. If they send— if you send an email and the link takes them to an entire YouTube page with a million videos, you're wasting their time. It needs to be one at a time. The vertical videos need to be correct for Instagram. If you take them to a page to see your transcript and it's in Timbuktu and there's login information or commercials playing right before your huddle video, which for every single huddle video it plays a 30-second commercial, you are wasting their time.
So every time you send it to us, every time you send us information, here is my thing where you can all— you can find all of this on this link and boom, you know, okay, great. I can find it all there. I can find his highlight video.
If there's one thing that I am hired for or that I'm good at, it's exactly what he described. When we make our email templates for the kids, in the signature it has everything that the coaches need in one email. There's no other website. Nobody wants a website. The coaches do not want Huddle, do not want ScoutingZone. That is not making their life easier. They're reading your emails. Do not take them to a separate page. Your Instagram videos, when they are filmed in horizontal, that is not making their life easier. I am very good, and here's proof of a coach texting me literally saying, did you do this? It makes my life so much easier. That is what makes it very possible for all of our kids to get recruited. Then if you're good at soccer, then you can play at very high levels. So what I tell families is I'm here to help as many people as I can. For those that I can't help, to make the process simpler for the college coaches, the way more likely you are to get recruited, and then it's a bonus if you start a little earlier because then we can make their lives easy for a lot longer and then they fall in love with you. If you want to know how you can make the coach's life easier, I want you to comment the word email and I'm going to send you a list of email templates that you need to send to the coaches.
